Re: The C3G Cave - Hangout

Age of Ultron in general was a hundred amazing ideas that came together to make a single subpar film. There's so much that I want to love about it - the Twins, Vision, the Hulkbuster fight, Tony's characterization, Hawkeye and family, the party scene, the whole "battle on a city falling from the sky" setpiece...

In theory it's super cool. In practice, though, it's a mess. I enjoyed it a lot - I'd put it in or near my five favorite MCU films, actually - but I think, like so many ambitious superhero movies, it's an example of "more" not equaling "better."

And boy, the stuff they missed the mark on (Ultron's jokes, the sense of danger, the Thor scenes, the Banner/Widow romance...) is absolutely glaring.
