Good idea Trex. Getting the rulebook, movement templates, dice etc will be necessary to play the system, so adding your own existing figure should be fine. I don't know what size yours are but the Legion ones are around 35mm.

Me and at least 2 others are getting core sets, so that's a lot of basic troops for nice size battles. Then of course there will be plenty of neat expansions.

The thing that makes this a different enough system for me to want to get in on, is the use of equipment cards and upgrades etc, like with X-Wing and Armada. So those upgrades will count against the points allowed for your army.
