Here's some Heroclix mini's on custom wood bases that I picked up from Micheal's... Normal sized mini's adhere nicely with super glue... I do that then carfeully paint around the mini with a mixture of acrylic paint and modge podge. The Superman was a test one. I had trouble with larger mini's, I think a hot glue gun would work better for those.
