Fortress Wall Ruling:
Fortress Wall pieces count as terrain. Everything connected to an individual Wall Walk tile down to the base is considered to be a single piece. The only reason there are multiple pieces is so that you can stack multiple wall segments together, but it is illegal to use bases without Fortress Wall pieces and illegal to play Fortress Walls uncapped. This might come up when playing with Galactus, if you choose one of the larger Wall Walk tiles, you remove all the Fortress Walls and bases attached to that Wall Walk at the same time. The Castle Doorway is treated the same way, all Fortress Wall and Wall Walk tiles on top of it are considered to be one terrain piece.

Note: The C3G Map Dept. may occasionally build maps without Wall Walk tiles on top, this is simply a shortcut to avoid having to make a special rule for that map that the top of the wall cannot be occupied. (representing an overhead ceiling)

Moving through Fortress Walls:
Many C3G cards currently allow you to move through "figures or obstacles such as ruins", these cards were mostly designed with the intent that Fortress Walls were obstacles, but that does not work with how the rules are worded. Moving we will be using the wording "figures, Fortress Walls, and obstacles" and any cards that currently say "obstacle such as ruin" will be considered to say "obstacles or Fortress Walls".
I have updated the SPs of these threads to reflect the new wording and we will update these as they arrive, but since most people assumed the cards worked this way to begin with it shouldn't be a big deal:
Spoiler Alert!
