Runa has gathered her main army and began to march on the capital. The main bridge is heavily defended and Runa looks for another way across the lake. This is her last chance to prove to Utgar she should remain in command. Taelord is waiting for her to fail so he can assume command. Her scouts report a small bridge with low water beneath it that is lightly defended. Lindesfarme has suffered a huge drought lately so the lake is very dry. She gathers a portion of her force and attacks the bridge. Kaemon brings a small force to help defend it but will it be enough?
Battle 8: Einar Imperium, Kaemon Awa, Samurai archers
vs. Runa, 2x Zombies, Marro warriors, Ke-mo-she, Deathstalkers
Round 1: Einar(7), Utgar(6)
Both armies slowly advance up the hill.
Round 2: Utgar(19), Einar(3)
Runa attacks but misses an Imperium.
Imperium take both glyphs(summoning, +1 att.), kill the summoned zombie, and put 2 wounds on Runa.
Zombies continue to crawl up the road while Kaemon puts another wound on Kiova.
Marro kill Imperium on attack glyph.
Archers advance still.
Round 3: Einar(

Imperium finish Runa.
Kaemon kills a zombie.
Zombies still have to advance and cannot engage while the Samurai archers make it onto the bridge.
Marro kills another Imperium somehow.
Round:4 Utgar(19), Einar(12)
A zombie makes it onto the bridge and kills an archer.
Imperium fails 2 attacks on the zombie as the marro take the attack glyph.
Kaemon kills both zombies on the bridge.
Ke-mo-she moves up and the archers kill off another zombie.
Round 5: Utgar(20), Einar(17)
Zombie gets himself counterstruck.
Last Imperium kills the marro off the attack glyph.
KMS continues to advance as Kaemon misses a marro. A marro then kills the last Imperium.
Archers wound KMS
Round 6: Einar(20), Utgar(1)
Kaemon puts 2 more wounds on KMS. KMS kills an archer.
Kaemon kills KMS.
Archer kills a marro.
Marro somehow wounds Kaemon.
Round 7: Einar(17), Utgar(9)
Taelord has seen enough and puts himself in command of the attack, or what's left of it.
Kaemon finishes the zombie and marro engaged to him.
Last marro takes attack glyph while Kaemon uses his range to "reach out and touch" a minion.
Taelord advances and the archer misses. Taelord then puts 2 more wounds on Kaemon.
Round 8: Utgar(20), Einar(1)
Taelord fishes Kaemon.
Then Taelord kills the last archer.
This is a big victory for Utgar. He now has an able commander and the door to the capital has been opened. Despite large losses he is happy with the result.
