I'm playing a few CtF games, and I'm wondering what units are especially good in this genre. Here's what I'm thinking so far:

While carrying the flag, a figure may not:
Phantom/Ghost Walk
Stealth Fly (Stealth Flying becomes normal flying)
Disengage
Teleport

200 Vipers x5
120 Venoc Warlord
180 Gorillinators x2

I tried this, and the Gorillas performed better than they would in your average kill 'em all games. You use them to engage, and the Mittens-boosted Venocs can hopefully Frenzy their way to the flag. If the gorillas manage to kill something, the survivers can cover the Vipers coming back with the flag, and maybe take-over if the flag-bearing viper dies. This is better in a 600-point format, because you can add another squad of G-nators for more support troops.

100 Kozuke Samurai
120 Tagawa Samurai
120 Kaemon Awa
100 Krav
60 Zetacron

I'm not sure about this one, but I suppose you could lead with the samurai, but protecting the Kozuke from range with the Krav. Then you could charge them in to assassinate the guards and run with the flag, Kaemon and the Krav staying behind to draw fire. Zeta picks off any chasers. However, order marker management could be a huge problem.

100 Pelloth
100 Chainfighter x4
80 Estivara

In this one, there will be casualties, so adding on ranged support units is a must in greater point ranges. The reason Drow could perform well in a CtF scenario, is because HiD brings deaths on the way to the flag down, and then Pelloth and Estivara can pummel the flag-guards with their specials. The chainfighters are there to either 1) guard the flag or 2) pull figures out of the rest of the Drow's way.
