Running alone, Argil is a decent filler with both the KoW and the Dreadguls. Roan gives the KoW a hero with special attack.
Run in the same army they become very strategic. Just make sure that when Roan's horse falls, that she is a decent spot so that Argil isn't pummeled as soon as she gets off the horse.
DISCLAIMER: No harm was done to the actual plastic horse during the play tests, even though it fell many times.
