what you could do with three MS is lay 4 large squares of 2 24 hexes together leteraly, then place a river two tiles wide on one of the jagged edges of the giant rectangle. Then place the other 8 large rectangles connested to thethe river. Now you should have a large rectangle with a river cutting off one third. for Land scapeing you could make canyons by staking seven hex tiles 5 high, triple hex4 or 5 high, and double hex four or five high. you can space them out one or tiles imbetween the stacks, you could leave large pockets every so often for miny battlefields. have the eight players form 2 teams of four, 4 teams of two, free for all, or any combination as long as points per team is the same. if two teams, you could start one team on one side of the river, each having one of the four large rectangles as a starting zone, the other four on the other half of the board. with four teams, hane each start in a corner, one large rectangle per team.

Theophilus.
