Yeah, still working it out. Our two concepts are:


1) They all start on the battlefield - Thanos starts with one, each player, in turn (starting with all opponents) then places a Gem on the battlefield at least 2/3 spaces away from any figure or any other Gem. (Alternatively, we could make it so only opponents place Gems Thanos doesn't start with.)
2) Thanos starts with one Gem. Further Gems appear, one placed at the end/start of each round. As to who gets to place, not sure yet.
