It's a "place" power rather than a "move" power right now. I was under the impression that falling damage only applied to "move" powers, not "place" powers, since "place" powers are more like teleportation.
For instance, Giant-Man's Giant Swat specifies that falling damage applies, but that's a "move" power. Whereas Blink's Phase Javelin does not specify that falling damage applies, but it's a "place" power.
