This is probably going to feed the rumor mill, but before they hit upon the bricks, Lego produced a wide range of toy products including rattles and toy cars. Their video games are a big success, I even have a Lego suitcase and bedsheet set. The company has dabbled in clothing and even worked with Ford Motor Co to produce a concept for more family friendly minivan, complete with upgraded safety features and play areas.

While I'm not saying that Lego would buy Heroscape, they have shown that they are willing to purchase the rights to others' intellectual properties. And we're talking about building landscapes here, right up Lego's alley.

Lastly, and my reason to think that they won't really buy 'Scape...
