I agree that the new terrain options could be very interesting. I was talking with my brother today, and he had some good ideas about the "shadow tiles". He saw the shadow tiles as a way of introducing "fog of war" into the game. The omnipresence of the position and abilities of the enemy is something that can be altered in the game. We could see some figures having special abilities while on a shadow tile, such as range restrictions when attacking that figure (must be adjacent or less than three spaces away) or attack bonus (+1 attack die when attacking from the shadow). So, I may get the set just for a few rock piles and shadow tiles...
