Re: The Book of Hobgoblin (Design Phase)

I've thought about a gas glyph - not sure it's needed but here's how that would look. It's a bit clunky but does mesh more with how we've done gases in the past.

GAS PUMPKIN
Start the game with a Glyph of Gas: Pumpkin Gas on this card. After moving with the Flying special power, you may remove the glyph from this card and place it power-side up on any space Hobgoblin passed over this turn. At the end of the turn, instead of removing this Glyph of Gas: Pumpkin Gas from the game, place it on this card.

NAME = GLYPH OF GAS: PUMPKIN GAS
SUBTITLE = -1 DEFENSE & -2 ROLL

PERMANENT GLYPH

All figures on or within 1 space of this glyph are affected by the Pumpkin Gas until the end of this player turn, even while this glyph is unoccupied. Affected figures roll 1 fewer defense die, to a minimum of 1 die, and if a player rolls the 20-sided die for an affected figure, subtract 2 from the roll. Androids and Constructs are not affected by this glyph. At the end of the turn, if the Glyph of Gas: Pumpkin Gas is on the battlefield, remove it from the game.
