Uck, that's a bit of a rules lawyery question, isn't it ... Here's another - if I use Magneto to throw someone into lava, does Magneto destroy the figure, or the lava? Should we specify an attack in there somehow and just let guys like MODOK and Magneto have a nice counter punch to him?
I like the design overall, though, and can go either way on the snow. I think the difference between Molten Lava and Ghost Rider's hellfire is that the latter is magical and demonic and able to counter the magic of the Winter Glyph's snow.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.
