No, not really. However, I was interested in seeing the shade of purple that Griffin used and to see how it turned out. The picture on the card is not great.
I posted a pic of the ones I painted in my custom figure thread (bottom of page 4). I just used the purple Games Workshop brand paint I had on hand followed up with a Games Workshop brand purple wash.
