I know, but to place Paolini in the upper echelon of writers like Tolkien and C.S. Lewis is just plain insulting. I kinda enjoyed the Inheritence series, but there were many parts where I simply rolled my eyes at how he would copy off Tolkien and Star Wars.

Good point. I used to really like the series, but I am pretty 'meh' about it now. I don't really even read fantasy literature any more, it is mostly poetry and classics like Kafka's
Metamorphosis.
