Re: mac122's customs

More playtesting results. Played 3 rounds of Commandos vs. a 510 pt army consisting of Major Q10, Zettian Guards, Agent Carr, Krav Maga Agents, Marrden Nagrubs, and Izumi Samurai. Commandos won 2 out of 3.

First game - Commandos won with 1 out and 2 badly wounded. Infiltrate allowed the Commandos to reach the high ground first. Boss' Delta Squad Leader was used effectively to get extra turns mainly for Sev the sniper. Q10's army tried to get the Samurai and Nagrubs up and engage the Commandos, but then waited too long to get the ranged attackers into the battle.

Second game - Commandos utterly destroyed. Boss and Sev went for the high ground while Scorch and Fixer tried to move around the flank. Unfortunately for the Commandos, that put those two outside the range of Boss - fewer extra turns. This proved deadly as the Krav Maga and Samurai went after Boss and Sev and took them out losing only 2 Samurai and one agent. Q10 and Carr then went after the two remaining Commandos. Both were bloodied, but took out the Commandos with a wound each to spare. Moral of the story: Keep the Commandos together as a team to get the maximum extra turns from Boss' Delta Squad Leader.

Third game - Commandos win by the skin of Scorch's teeth. Again, Commandos took the high ground first and Samurai and Agents moved up to engage. This time, the combined force of the Commando team took out the the first squads sustaining only minor injuries. Then Q10 and Carr entered the fray. Boss went down, then Q10. Carr finished off Sev before Fixer, er, fixed him. Fixer moved in on the Zettians and managed to pull off his Hacked 12 attack once before the Nagrubs mauled him. Scorch used his Special to take out a Nagrub and the last Zettian. The remaining two Nagrubs engaged Scorch in a battle to the finish. Scorch took down the last Nagrub with only one wound to spare.

I'm happy with the way Delta Squad turned out, but I'd still like to get some more feedback from the community. If you stumble across this thread, please let me know what you think.
Thanks!
