imdb and saw the trailer ('Super Bowl spot'). From this, it looks like a good B movie with fine special effects. However, trailers are a lowest common denominator type of thing, so I can hope for better. Well, after all, its a pulp adventure to begin with, no matter how beloved the characters are personally.
