Yes and no.
I love George and I enjoy the prequels (love EPS III) but I also understand why people don't like the prequels. He is one of the most brilliant minds in film making though 100%.
Thankfully, there is another.
Spoiler Alert!
I honestly can't say enough good things about all of the good things Dave Filoni has brought to the SW universe after basically being George's right-hand man during
The Clone Wars (Rebels, Mandalorian, TCW final season). Mandalorian of course with the help of Jon Favreau and the other amazing directors. It's awesome to see Dave's success and his passion for learning new things like going from animation to live-action.
If you haven't checked out The Mandalorian Gallery on Disney+ it's a behind-the-scenes look at a bunch of Mando stuff and it's really good. The latest episode discussed the latest technology and how it's similar to what George was trying to do for the prequels but it just wasn't developed yet. Kathleen Kennedy says George was always 10-15yrs ahead of his time.
Definitely sad to watch knowing the prequels could've been better with the technology we have now. Carl Weathers has a really good discussion point about acting with the technology now and acting with the technology then.
