That's on theme, yes. The other bonus is that auto wounds flying will keep Equipment Glyphs flying, which goes well with the whole attempting to be a thief thing. He'll be decent at grabbing Equipment Glyphs and poor at holding them.
I think, in practice, he won't be able to dish out too many auto-wounds, because the conditions will have to be right (equipment glyph holder adjacent to him) and he's pretty fragile. The auto wounds and Daring Decoy will combine to make him a huge target as well.
