Doombots appear to be Doctor Doom to world. Everyone thinks they are fighting Doom until it dies and it reveals that it is a Robot. I think a life that is higher than 1 helps to create that illusion, plus these guys think for themselves in exactly the same way Doom does, so that independence is also represented to me by being able to treat them like a Unique Hero in every way even though they are not.
