So how do we take the basic concepts here and replicate them for wider use?

Foamcore sounds like one possibility. What could be done with a 3D printer? What would either option cost and what would be the ease of entry for either?

edit But if this was something that could be printed and shipped, it's something I'd save up to buy from one of my good friends on here with a 3D printer for sure.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.
