Units: Hawkman (270), Flash (Barry Allen) (JL) (270), Superman (JL) (460) (1000) vs Darkseid (520), Desaad (240), Parademons (x3) (240) (1000)
Unit Summary: Hawkman rolled a lot of skulls early and Darkseid defended poorly, which cost him. Hot dice for Superman to the Rescue made this trio very tough.
Game Summary
Spoiler Alert!
Initiative Justice League. Flash defeats a tree, pushes up Hawkman, and moves up next to him. Superman flies forward. Darkseid moves up a Parademon screen and then defeats a Parademon to fly up behind the screen. Flash defeats another tree, pushes Hawkman forward and puts himself in engagement with a Parademon. Hawkman goes nuts offensively, sniping Darkseid for 3 wounds, finding the hole in the screen and smacking Darkseid for another 3 wounds with his mace (all from height disadvantage). Then he uses Battle Charge and has Superman move up and Flash defeat a Parademon from height. Desaad tortures Flash for two wounds, takes a wound from Darkseid, and Darkseid punches down on Hawkman for a wound. Superman fails to come to the rescue at all. Flash pushes Darkseid off height and collapses a tree into a Parademon to KO it. Superman flies to heigh on Darkseid and punches him for a wound, then uses a JL Marker. Flash can’t hit Darkseid from height. Hawkman hits Darkseid from height for his last wound. But Darkseid Is and heals instead. Desaad would torture Flash to death and Darkseid, after wounding Desaad, would defeat Hawkman, but Superman rescues them both and takes two wounds instead. Omega Effect wounds each JLer once.
Initiative Justice League. Flash pushes Desaad to height disadvantage and takes out a Parademon with a tree. Superman can’t hit Darkseid but uses a JL Marker. Flash attacks down on Darkseid and would defeat him but he is and goes to 7 wounds instead. Hawkman defeats Darkseid and ends the round for Apokolips. Hawkman snipes Desaad from range for 2 wounds then closes in and takes him out. Superman punches out the second to last Parademon. The last Parademon would get an auto wound on Flash, but Superman comes to the rescue again.
Initiative Parademon. The last one can’t hit Flash. Superman punches the Parademon out to finish it.

Units: Hawkman (270), Hawkwoman (260), Atom (JL) (100), Martian Manhunter (JL) (370) (1000) vs Doctor Doom (525), Doombot (x5) (475) (1000)
Unit Summary: Latveria won the game by a decent margin the first time I played, then I realized I’d forgotten to include Atom, so I replayed it. In that first match, Hawkman was targeted and taken out early without doing any damage. The end results were a little bit closer, but fairly similar overall.

Unit Summary: Hawkman was an easy target again and fell early again. I probably should’ve kept him for second wave, but he did take Mister Fantastic down to 1 life before falling.

___________________________________________________________ UNIT SUMMARY: I like where he’s at. He can get in a nice offensive push if things all go his way, and he had some hot attack rolls here, but if no one’s protecting him, he can fall fast.
