Unit Summary: Hawkman rolled a lot of skulls early and Darkseid defended poorly, which cost him. Hot dice for Superman to the Rescue made this trio very tough.
Game Summary

Initiative Justice League. Flash defeats a tree, pushes up Hawkman, and moves up next to him. Superman flies forward. Darkseid moves up a Parademon screen and then defeats a Parademon to fly up behind the screen. Flash defeats another tree, pushes Hawkman forward and puts himself in engagement with a Parademon. Hawkman goes nuts offensively, sniping Darkseid for 3 wounds, finding the hole in the screen and smacking Darkseid for another 3 wounds with his mace (all from height disadvantage). Then he uses Battle Charge and has Superman move up and Flash defeat a Parademon from height. Desaad tortures Flash for two wounds, takes a wound from Darkseid, and Darkseid punches down on Hawkman for a wound. Superman fails to come to the rescue at all. Flash pushes Darkseid off height and collapses a tree into a Parademon to KO it. Superman flies to heigh on Darkseid and punches him for a wound, then uses a JL Marker. Flash can’t hit Darkseid from height. Hawkman hits Darkseid from height for his last wound. But Darkseid Is and heals instead. Desaad would torture Flash to death and Darkseid, after wounding Desaad, would defeat Hawkman, but Superman rescues them both and takes two wounds instead. Omega Effect wounds each JLer once.
Initiative Justice League. Flash pushes Desaad to height disadvantage and takes out a Parademon with a tree. Superman can’t hit Darkseid but uses a JL Marker. Flash attacks down on Darkseid and would defeat him but he is and goes to 7 wounds instead. Hawkman defeats Darkseid and ends the round for Apokolips. Hawkman snipes Desaad from range for 2 wounds then closes in and takes him out. Superman punches out the second to last Parademon. The last Parademon would get an auto wound on Flash, but Superman comes to the rescue again.
Initiative Parademon. The last one can’t hit Flash. Superman punches the Parademon out to finish it.

Units: Hawkman (270), Hawkwoman (260), Atom (JL) (100), Martian Manhunter (JL) (370) (1000) vs Doctor Doom (525), Doombot (x5) (475) (1000)
Unit Summary: Latveria won the game by a decent margin the first time I played, then I realized I’d forgotten to include Atom, so I replayed it. In that first match, Hawkman was targeted and taken out early without doing any damage. The end results were a little bit closer, but fairly similar overall.

Initiative Justice League. Manhunter advances. He moves up all his allies. Two Doombots advance. Hawkman snipes a Doombot for a wound, then flies forward two spaces, but it’s not enough to engage. His second ranged attack misses. One Doombot mystic bolts Hawkman to height disadvantage. The second engages and one-shots him. Ouch. Similar to last game. Hawkman had OM3. Doombots hit Hawkwoman with a Mystic Bolt wound and the wounded Doombot self-destructs on Manhunter for 2 wounds.
Initiative Latveria. A mystic bolt misses Hawkwoman and another Doombot advances. Manhunter one-shots a Doombot from range, Atom pops a marker and fails to get an auto wound on a Doombot, then Manhunter moves Atom and Hawkwoman both. Doombots inflict a mystic bolt wound on both Manhunter and Hawkwoman. Hawkwoman inflicts a wound on a Doombot and Atom gets recharged, then pops the marker but doesn’t get an auto wound. The wounded bot explodes on Hawkwoman for two wounds and another flies up and fails to finish her with a mystic bolt. Manhunter can’t wound a Doombot even with a marker burn. Atom burns a marker and finally wounds that Bot.
Initaitive Justice League. Manhunter defeats a Doombot and Atom takes a wound from the explosion on the way out. Hawkwoman is moved up. The last Doombot takes out Hawkwoman with a mystic bolt. Doom advances and puts a fourth wound on Manhunter with a mystic bolt. Manhunter blasts Doom for a wound. Atom uses a marker and inflicts a second wound on Doom. Manhunter moves Atom back. The last Doombot blows up on Manhunter and finishes him. Doom punches out Atom for the win.

Unit Summary: Hawkman was an easy target again and fell early again. I probably should’ve kept him for second wave, but he did take Mister Fantastic down to 1 life before falling.

Wonder Woman uses a marker. Initiative Justice League. Hawkman attacks Mister Fantastic twice from range and inflicts one wound. Invisible Woman advances and blasts Hawkman for a wound. Mister Fantastic wraps Hawkman up and fails to hit him with an attack. Mister Fantastic realizes his mistake when Hawkman strikes down on him for 3 wounds. He reveals the “X” and Green Lantern and Black Canary both inch forward. She-Hulk and Mister Fantastic finish off Hawkman. Canary’s cry hits She-Hulk for a wound. Black Canary flies forward courtesy of Green Lantern and punches out Mister Fantastic from height. She-Hulk heals a wound in clean up. Canary avoids a heat wound from lava at the end of the round.
Wonder Woman uses her second marker. Initiative Fan Four. She-Hulk hits Black Canary for a wound. Green Lantern flies forward and can’t hit She-Hulk. She-Hulk punches out Black Canary, who fails her cry. Green Lantern engages Invisible Woman and hits her for two wounds. Thing advances. Green Lantern hits Invisible Woman for two more wounds.
Wonder Woman uses her last marker. Initiative Fan Four. She-Hulk engages Green Lantern from height disadvantage, but can’t hit him. Green Lantern finishes Invisible Woman. She-Hulk fails to hit him back. Green Lantern hits She-Hulk for two wounds. Thing advances. Green Lantern hits Thing for two wounds.
Initiative Fan Four. Thing hits Green Lantern for a wound. Green Lantern hits Thing for two wounds. Thing defeats Green Lantern. Green Lantern had OM2 and OM3. She-Hulk leaps forward, then heals.
Initiative Wonder Woman, who flies forward. Thing advances. Wonder Woman and She-Hulk exchange attacks and can’t hit. Thing engages Wonder Woman from height disadvantage and hits her for a wound. She-Hulk heals to full.

UNIT SUMMARY: I like where he’s at. He can get in a nice offensive push if things all go his way, and he had some hot attack rolls here, but if no one’s protecting him, he can fall fast.
