THE COLT SPECIAL ATTACK

You may add one automatic skull to whatever is rolled from this special attack. Before attacking a Demon or Undead figure with this special attack you may reveal the X Order Marker on this card. If you do, then instead of one automatic skull, you may add two automatic skulls to whatever is rolled.

DEMON CROSSROAD DEAL
Once per game, if a Sam Winchester figure you control is destroyed, you may remove all wound markers from his card and place that figure on this card. At the start of a round, if there is a Sam Winchester figure on this card, you may place that figure adjacent to Dean Winchester, if possible and, if you do then at the end of that round, destroy Dean.

Fairly close game, but the Slayers had all the right tools to take out the Undead. Buffy was the real star of this game. Dean’s biggest contribution was the free attack options.

Round 1: Lurker gets an early hit and strikes Dean for 1 wound. Buffy destroys that Lurker. Dean and Buffy destroy a Roamer each. Roamers swarm Dean and hit him for 2 wounds. Dean colts (with X) to destroy a Roamer while Buffy destroys a Roamer and a Walker.
Round 2: A Walker advances on Dean and destroys him, leaving a Lurker in his place. Roamers strike at Buffy for 1 wound. Buffy destroys 2 Walkers and a Roamer. Walkers advance for 1 wound on Buffy. Buffy destroys 2 Walkers.
Round 3: Walker advances on Buffy for 1 wound. Buffy then destroys remaining undead.

Very unlucky game for Batman family. 3 defend rolls in a row rolled 0 shields. This destroyed a full Robin and a nearly full Batman in a single round. Again the real star was not Dean, but he did do his share.

Round 1: Batman gets first hit and deals 1 wound to Blade. Dean misses Batman, but Blade is able to deal 2 wounds.
Round 2: Alfred extracts Batman and heals him 1 wound. Batflurry hits Dean for 1 wound. Dean uses colt on Batman and rolls 3 skulls +1 auto but Batman is able to defend it. Blade attacks Robin twice and both times Robin fails to roll a single shield and is destroyed. Batflurry hits Dean for another wound. Dean shoots Batman (regular) and hits for 3 wounds (0 shields rolled) and then Blade destroys him.
Round 3: Dean colts Alfred and rolls 0 skulls for no damage. Blade hits Alfred for 2 wounds and next turn runs through Alfred and destroys him.

Dracula was quite underwhelming in this game for his 490 cost. This and the fact that the Slayers have the right tools for Undead meant this game was very one sided. Dean himself did little other than offer a free attack and quick destruction of Silver Banshee.

Round 1: Brides get first strike against Buffy for 2 wounds. Blade destroys a Bride. Traps fail and Brides destroy Buffy.
Round 2: Traps destroy a Bride. Dean colts the last Bride and Sam hits Dracula for 1 wound. Dracula rolls 4 skulls on Sam, but Sam defends with the X OM and takes only 1 wound. Blade attacks Silver Bansee for 1 wound.
Round 3: Silver Banshee uses Hellfire Fireball for 1 wound on Sam and 2 wounds on Blade, but also 1 on Silver Bansee. Dean uses the X OM with the Colt on Dracula for 1 wound. Next turn the Colt does 3 wounds on Dracula and Sam destroys Dracula.
Round 4: Dean colts Silver Banshee for 2 wounds and Sam destroys her (0 shields rolled). Blade destroys 2 minions.
Round 5: Traps destroy the last minion.

This was a tough fight for Sam and Dean where their partner/companions did not do most of the heavy lifting since there were no “monsters”. Buffy was taken out very quickly and Blade didn’t last much longer.

Round 1: Traps deal 1 wound to Wrecker, but Wrecker hits Sam for 1 wound. Traps deal 1 wound to Bulldozer, but Bulldozer destroys Sam. Piledriver hits Buffy for 4 wounds. Wrecker attacks Blade for 1 wound and Piledriver destroys Buffy.
Round 2: Dean hits Wrecker for 2 wounds and Blade follows for 2 more. Wrecker attacks Blade for 2 wounds and Bulldozer destroys him. Bulldozer charges Dean for 2 wounds and Wrecker strikes Dean for 1 more. Colt destroys Wrecker. Dean attacks Bulldozer for 1 wound.
Round 3: Sam returns. Dean uses the Colt for 1 wound on Bulldozer and Traps get Piledriver for 1 wound. Piledriver does 3 wounds to Sam. End of round Dean is destroyed.
Round 4: Dean returns and uses the colt for 2 wounds on Bulldozer. Piledriver destroys Sam. Bulldozer takes 1 wound from LEA. Colt does 1 wound on Thunderball. Piledriver hits dean for 3 wounds and Bulldozer charges and destroys him.

THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT'S COST, BALANCE, & DRAFTABILITY:
Dean is good as a tag-team Slayer. His free attack is the best power he offers, followed by The Colt. Like most Slayers, if he faces Undead or the like, he is better and probably worth more. But without such monsters to face, his value decreases slightly. I did find his free attack with his partner a little too much and will be changing that power slightly to bring its value down. Overall, I’m happy with Dean and think he will be a great addition to the Slayer faction.
