CARNAGE RULES! SPECIAL ATTACK
Range 3. Attack 1, 2 or 3.
Carnage starts each turn with 6 attack dice. Choose any figure within range and attack by rolling 1, 2 or 3 attack dice. Carnage may keep making special attacks with 1, 2 or 3 attack dice until he has rolled all 6 attack dice. When defending against this attack, the target figure subtracts X from their defense. X equals the number of attacks Carnage has previously made against the target figure this turn that did not inflict any wounds.

CONDUCTOR OF THE CRAZY TRAIN
After revealing an Order Marker on this card and taking a turn with Carnage, you may choose up to X non-Human Unique Heroes that are Insane or Savage you control within clear sight of Carnage. X equals the number of attacks made by Carnage during his turn that inflicted at least 1 wound. You may attack with each of the chosen figures and you cannot take any other additional turns with figures you control.

Carnage and Shriek advance five spaces each.
Round 1: Initiative Carnage Family. Both teams spend the round advancing, then Green Arrow and Red Arrow combine to snipe Shriek.

Round 2: Initiative Birds of Prey. Red Arrow advances. Carrion advances. Red Arrow follows the Secret Attack Plan with his Speed Shot and hits Doppelganger for 2 wounds. Green Arrow snaps his bow. Doppelganger advances. Black Canary and Robin advance. Doppleganger engages Green Arrow and KO’s him with his first four arms.

Round 3: Initiative Birds of Prey. Red Arrow follows the Secret Attack Plan, but can’t hit Doppelganger. Carnage attacks Red Arrow three times with his special attack, subtracting one from his defense the second and third times, and inflicting two wounds. Black Canary engages and KO’s Doppelganger. Carrion engages and KO’s Red Arrow. Black Canary screams at Carnage for three wounds and Robin sneaks in a Batarange for a fourth (Carnage whiffed on both defense rolls!). Carnage attacks Black Canary one die at a time and lands two wounds.

Round 4: Initiative Carnage Family. Carrion engages Black Canary, attacks, but can’t hit. Black Canary fails to hit Carrion. Robin engages Carnage and hits him for a fifth wound. Carnage misses on five of six rolls with his special attack and Robin flips out of the way of the skull (the second roll) before making Carnage re-target to Canary, losing his defensive reduction stockpile. As a result, no wounds, no Crazy Train. Black Canary and Robin fail to wound Carnage, who is getting beast rolls on defense now. Carnage hits Robin for two wounds with his special attack, then Carrion gets on the Crazy Train, hits Canary for a wound, and finishes her with his Degenerative Touch. Batman picks up where Canary left off, hitting Canarge for two wounds with a Bat-a-rang, then missing Carrion. Robin fails to finish Carnage.

Round 5: Initiative Birds of Prey. Batman punches out Carnage. Robin hits Carrion for two wounds. Carnage had OM1. Batman and Robin both hit Carrion for a wound.

Unit Summary: This ended up being a tough match up with Green Arrow and Red Arrow essentially picking the shorter ranged Carnage Family apart before they got to the table. This very much limited the upside of Conductor of the Crazy Train, though largely melee/short range figures without movement bonding beyond what Shriek gives are going to have this weakness. Still, Canarge made a go of it, with his special attack proving particularly useful here.

Shriek, Carnage, and Chucky move up for a night out on the town.
Round 1: Initiative Carnage Family. Deadpool and Harley Quinn advance. Mister Fantastic advances. Shriek, Harley, and Chucky advance. The entire Fan Four advance. Carnage and Harley Quinn advance. Harley tosses her bomb on Thing, Human Torch, and Invisible Woman, and hits Invisible Woman for two wounds. Thing can’t hit Harley, Human Torch can’t hit Carnage, and Mister Fantastic Rubber Wraps Harley, but can’t hit her.

Round 2: Initiative Fantastic Four. Invisible Woman fails to hit Carnage. Human Torch takes a swipe, but Flames On Carnage for two wounds, but can’t hit with an attack. Thing and Mister Fantastic both fail to hit Harley.
Shriek engages Human Torch and hits him for two wounds. Chucky fails to follow up.
Fantastic Leader roll is great again. Thing takes a swipe moving toward the road. Human Torch is too tied down so he goes Supernova, hitting Shriek for two wounds, Carnage for three wounds, and missing Harley. Chucky is hit too, but plays dead and is fine. Mister Fantastic blocks. Invisible Woman fails to hit Shriek from height. Mister Fantastic hits her for one wound.
Carnage avoids a swipe from Human Torch, engages Invisible Woman, and hits her for two wounds with his special attack from height disadvantage. Crazy Train activates Shriek (who can’t hit Human Torch, but Chucky sticks Human Torch for a wound) and Harley (who finishes Human Torch from height).
Thing goes full Clobberin’ Time on Carnage and KO’s him. Invisible Woman KO’s Shriek. Mister Fantastic fails to hit Harley Quinn.
Carnage had OM3.

Round 3: Initiative Fantastic Four. Thing fails twice to clobber Harley, but Mister Fantastic catches her for three quick wounds.
Deadpool’s double attack and Harley all fail to hit Mister Fantastic.
Mister Fantastic and Thing fail to finish Harley.
Deadpool hits Mister Fantastic for two wounds. Harley can’t hit him.
Thing KO’s Harley. Mister Fantastic can’t hit Deadpool.
Deadpool circles around, KO’s Invisible Woman with a punch, then shoots down Mister Fantastic, KO’ing him.

Round 4: Initiative Deadpool. He takes a swipe from Thing, picks up Chucky, shoots Thing twice from range for no wounds, then heals.
Thing hits Deadpool for a wound.
Deadpool takes a swipe, positions Chucky adjacent to Thing, hits Thing for three wounds from range, Chucky fails to hit anything, then Deadpool heals one wound.
Thing avoids a swipe from Chucky and puts Deadpool down to one life.
Deadpool can’t hit Thing, but Chucky does, lowering Thing to one life. Deadpool heals back up to two life remaining.
Thing fails to hit Deadpool.
Deadpool KO’s Thing and heals a wound.

Unit Summary: Carnage had his impact early and felt well set up to take out Invisible Woman early on and/or get Crazy Train going well, but consistently great Fantastic Leader rolls ended that and let Thing go full Clobbering Time on him. By the end, this one felt like it could’ve gone either way, but healers are tough in end game.
