Army Test
Map: Everglades and Evergreens (ARV)
Units: Canary @160, Wildcat, Robot, Angel (700) vs Batman (I), Nite Owl, Robin (Dick), Catgirl, Batgirl (Babs), Robin (Damian) (700)
Spoiler Alert!
Really tense, down-to-the-wire match. Canary got to do a lot here because she was sort of overlooked while the Vigilante team was more focused on trying to bring down Wildcat, Angel and Robot. (Angel and Robot because scary, Wildcat because he messes pretty hard with Dick Grayson's "drag out the endgame" shtick, and generally requires some whittling away at to bring down). Canary picked off the sidekicks and got to use a lot of the different tricks in her arsenal, but eventually dropped when the focus shifted to her in the endgame.
Unit Summary: - la
- Damage Done (Normal Attack): 4 wounds to Catgirl in 3 attacks (destroyed), 3 wounds to Damian in 4 attacks (destroyed), 3 wounds to Batgirl in 1 attack, 2 wounds to Nite Owl in 1 attack, 1 wound to Dick in 1 attack (destroyed)
- Canary Cry: not used
- Mixed Martial Arts: multi-attacked 2 times. Added an auto-skull 6 times. Switched 1 time. Would have multi-attacked another time, but ended up destroying Catgirl with the first attack
- Sonic Shatter:
- Damage Taken: 0 wounds from Batman in 1 special attack, 1 wound from Dick in 2 attacks, 3 wounds from Nite Owl in 2 attacks
Who won? List figures remaining in the winning army (include life remaining for heroes): Nite Owl with 1 Life
THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT'S COST, BALANCE, & DRAFTABILITY: Kinda forgot about the DO thing when I was building armies. Honestly, though, there's scarier anti-DO stuff in the game already.
Definitely dig her as a discount attacker that particularly benefits from Wildcat's bonus. She's not super hardy, but she's got the juice to throw down with other street level folks. All of her MMA pips have their uses. Switch is a bit situational, depending on the map, but it's a cool effect. Found auto-skull was my go-to, but the multi-attack became more attractive when I could get her on height.
