Catman chooses Luke Cage as his prey.

Deadshot enters the car. Luke & Daredevil advance. Bane enters the car. Luke & Jessica advance. Deadshot drives forward and shoots at Jessica, who blocks. Jessica puts 2 wounds on the car & Luke moves up.

Deadshot drives up to the bridge and shoots Jessica, who takes 2 wounds. Jessica destroys the car with 1 extra wound, which passes to Deadshot & Bane. Luke puts 2 wounds on Bane. Deadshot kills Jessica. Luke & Daredevil are blocked. Deadshot puts 3 wounds on Daredevil. Daredevil puts 3 wounds on Catman while Luke is blocked.

Deadshot kills Daredevil, who ignores it. Luke puts another wound on Bane. Deadshot kills Daredevil for good this time. Luke puts another wound on Bane (his defensive rolls have been nuts). Deadshot is blocked. Luke is blocked.

Luke kills Bane. Deadshot wounds Luke. Luke puts 2 wounds on Catman. Deadshot wounds Bane. Luke wounds Catman. Deadshot is blocked.

Luke kills Catman. Deadshot wounds Luke. Luke is blocked. Deadshot whiffs. Luke wounds Deadshot. Deadshot wounds Luke.

Deadshot kills Luke.


Who won? List figures remaining in the winning army (include life remaining for heroes): Deadshot with 2 wounds wins. He kind of cheesed this game by being behind Bane & Catman on the bridge, but still it was close.

Units: Fantastic 4, Sports Car x1 (1100) VS Yellow Lanterns: Arkillo, Sinestro, Sinestro Corps Soldier x3, Manhunter x1 (1110)

Spoiler Alert!

Arkillo kills a soldier. Reed & Sue enter the car while Thing moves up. Sinestro puts 4 wounds on Thing, while the soldier is blocked. Thing moves up, Johnny is blocked, and Reed (in the car with Sue) wounds a soldier. Sinestro wounds Thing, while the Soldier is blocked. Sue takes out the soldier with 2 skulls, Thing puts 2 wounds on Sinestro, and Johnny forces a battery shield.

Reed fails his Fantastic Leader roll. Sinestro & his soldier take out Thing. The Fantastic 4 put another wound on Sinestro. Sinestro & the soldier are blocked. Johnny uses Flame on 4 to kill Sinestro & wound the soldier, then he wounds Arkillo. Sue makes the soldier burn a battery while Reed is blocked. OM3 was on Sinestro.

Johnny & Reed each wound Arkillo. Arkillo eviscerates then kills Johnny. The soldier wounds the car. Reed wounds Arkillo. Arkillo eviscerates the car then is blocked. The soldier puts 2 wounds on Sue. Sue kills Arkillo, who had OM3.

Sue & Reed clean up.


Who won? List figures remaining in the winning army (include life remaining for heroes): Mister Fantastic (healthy) and Invisible Woman w/2 wounds wins. This was a slaughter but the Sinestro Corps made several key mistakes, namely in losing Sinestro so early to Johnny.

Units: Fantastic 4, Sports Car x1 (1100) VS Captain America C3G, Iron Man Avengers, Black Widow, Thor (1110)

Iron Man moves up on Cap’s OM. The Fan4 moves up, while Reed/Sue prepare for a drive out on the town. Thor advances. Johnny puts 2 wounds on Thor. Reed drives up. Thor takes a disengagement wound from Johnny, then he destroys the car in one hit. Johnny uses flame on to put 2 wounds on Iron Man, then is blocked. Reed puts a wound on Thor.

Iron Man gets the heck away from Johnny and puts 2 wounds on Sue. Reed puts 2 wounds on Thor. Thor kills Sue. Johnny takes out Iron Man and engages Thor. Thing is blocked and Reed wounds Thor. Thor puts 3 wounds on Reed. Reed is blocked.

Johnny fails flame on 4 and is blocked. Thor kills Reed. Johnny is blocked. Cap puts 3 wounds on Thing with shield throw and is blocked by Johnny. Johnny uses flame on 4 (taking a disengagement wound) to kill Thor and wounds Cap. Cap is blocked.

Johnny engages Cap and is blocked. Cap is blocked. Johnny puts 2 wounds on Cap with flame on 4. Cap puts 2 wounds on Johnny. Johnny kills Cap with flame on 4 then puts 2 wounds on Widow. Widow takes out Johnny.

Widow manages to take out Thing after lots of blocking on both sides.


Who won? List figures remaining in the winning army (include life remaining for heroes): Black Widow w/2 wounds wins.

THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT'S COST, BALANCE, & DRAFTABILITY: Sports Cars are fragile but offer a useful mobility option for figures, which especially helps figures like Invisible Woman. Free movement for supporting figures is very powerful and it showed here. The car also provides protection from melee attacks for its occupants. However, you pay for it and it requires some turn investment early on to get people in the car.

I think the car is fine at 100 points overall. It’s strong with cheerleader units but not unbeatable as my tests showed. In fact, the car usually falls quickly.

GENERAL THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT: Lots of fun. Looking forward to drafting more vehicles.
