Re: The Book of Brit-Cit Judge (Public Testing)
I'll have my other game up tomorrow, but here is the first one
NAME OF THE PLAYTEST UNIT: Brit-Cit Judge @60 points
Army Test 1
Map: Sewer Labyrinth
Units: Judge Us By Our Sizes Do You?: Brit-Cit Judge x1 (60), Groot (275), Rocket Raccoon (175), Wasp (50), Stilt-Man (150), Skrull Infltrator x2 (20)- 730 total vs Stop! Hamill Time: Joker II (140), Solomon Grundy (290), Swamp Thing (235), Trickster (JJ) (65)- 730 total
Spoiler Alert!
Game Summary:
Since there really isn't a reason to use the Brits as any sort of primary force right now, I'm testing one as filler in an army that already has some tricky 'who to wound and when' stuff going on to see if having him as a bluff / possible turn against a newly-minted Criminal alters the other team's strategy any. Long story short, it never felt like a particularly dangerous play and the other team never really cared about getting a Judgement marker. Granted, I am the other team so I knew when there was a bluff going on, but I don't think somehow splitting myself into two different people would have really changed much here. The Brit might have gotten a little more use in a team with OM Flex, but there are just better generic filler options either way.
The actual game basically was just a smack down between Groot and Grundy for a while, Groot eventually prevailed but the other team lasted long enough for Grundy to come back anyway. By then, the Brit's team was worn pretty thin and eventually it was down to just him. The Brit tried his best, but eventually Grundy just pasted him.
Unit Summary:- Damage Done (Normal Attack): 1 wound on Grundy over 3 attacks.
- Judge: Used as more of a bluff/trick here, to see if the threat of getting it on someone in particular would change any of the other team's plays (it didn't), so I didn't actually place it until later on. Ended up on Grundy by the time the Brit was attacking.
- Jury: Subtracted from Grundy's defense thrice.
- Executioner: Didn't come up.
- Damage Taken: 2 Wounds from Grundy's first attack on him, blocked the second, died on the third.
Result: Grundy lives again with 3 life, Joker laughs as he clings onto 1 life.
