Scenario Background:
Spoiler Alert!
Poised for battle between the shore of a great lake and the hillside looking over it, each army planned their advance. The hillside offered better position for attack, but would be a slow and arduous move. At least for a full army it would, but sending a small group to flank from the hills could be a strong strategy. Getting in position in time being the biggest gamble.
And as they sat idle planning their strategies, all across the expansive shoreline, the roars could be heard. Krug, locked away in the hillside, raged at his captivity. When the battle begins just outside of his prison, his anger grows and he begins to bang violently on the door, weakening it. It's an opportunity for those on the battlefield to help Krug escape, gain his trust, and add him to their ranks.
Scenario Rules:
Spoiler Alert!
Flanking --
1) At the beginning of the game, each army may choose a subset of their army to flank. These units do not start the game on the battlefield.
2) At the beginning of each round, each player with a flank yet to be placed rolls a D20. If the D20 is less than the round number x 2, they can place all their flank units in the flank position - opposite side of the board from their starting zone.
3) Only the back two rows of the corner (11 spaces) are available. If space is unavailable for units, those units must remain off the board until a proper D20 is rolled again.
4) If an army is eliminated before the flanks are placed, the flank units are discarded and the player is eliminated.
Krug --
1) Krug begins as a neutral unit behind the fortress door (10hp, 4def, no reinforced defense)
2) At the begining of each round, the door takes 1 damage automatically.
3) Through standard attacks, any team can damage the door additionally.
4) When the door reaches 0 health, it is destroyed and Krug is free. The player to free Krug gains his army card and takes a turn with him immediately.
5) Krug is also now bonded to the unit that freed him. That unit's army card can be considered to include the following:
Krug Loyalty Bonding:
After taking a turn with <unit(s)>, you may then take a turn with Krug. You may not use Krug Loyalty Bonding if Krug was used with any other bonding ability that turn.
