Bio - Zachary Gate is the modern-day descendant of Nicholas Anders, one of the visionary architects who designed much of Gotham City in the 1800s. Gate, feeling that his ancestor was denied his rightful place in history, started wearing his ancestor's hydraulic suit (adapted for underwater construction) and plotted to destroy many of Gotham's landmarks.
