Bucky has not been recruited to be an Avenger, and is feeling rather left out. He thought Steve was his friend.
Round One
The Avengers claim the initiative, and Captain America and Bucky advance.
Angel flies Wolverine forwards, and Logan charges Steve Rogers, slashing him from height to no avail.
Kate shoots Logan, pinning him and inspiring Angel to fly back to base. Clint flies forwards, carrying Kate and Cassie forwards, before shooting Wolverine with an ineffectual Sky Shot, before flying north with Kate.
Wolverine slashes Steve for a wound, and Storm advances before failing to harm Hawkeye.
Kate shoots Logan, inflicting a wound and pinning him, before Stature, growing in size and moving to equal height, strikes him for four wounds, leaving him near death.
Logan slashes madly at Steve, inflicting a wound on the super soldier before healing, and Storm engages Cassie, electrifying her and inflicting two wounds.
Wolverine heals a wound at the end of the round.
Round Two
The X-Men claim the initiative, and Logan unleashes another flurry of blows on Steve, inflicting two more wounds, before healing. Storm fails to harm Stature.
Bucky opens fire with his Machine Gun, but is unable to harm Wolverine. Steve moves to equal height and punches the Canadian with a devastating blow, taking him completely by surprise - he inflicts three wounds and Wolverine is left one wound off death.
Logan decapitates Captain America before slashing at Stature twice, missing wildly and healing a wound. Storm fails to harm Stature.
Kate shoots Logan, pinning him, before Clint flies her to the northern hill and shoots Logan with a Sky Shot, taking him out.
Firestar flies north and blasts the Hawkeyes with a deadly Microwave Beam, inflicting two wounds on Kate and one on Clint. Storm strikes Stature for a wound.
Stature strikes Storm for a wound.
Round Three
The X-Men claim the initiative, and Firestar makes another Microwave Blast, killing Kate and inflicting a wound on Clint. Stoem blasts Stature, taking her out and causing Speed to step up to the plate.
Speed runs forwards.
Firestar fails to Microwave Hawkeye, and Storm fails to blast Speed.
Speed charges Storm, punching her for two wounds.
Firestar melts Clint’s insides with a Microwave Beam. Storm fries Speed for two wounds.
Speed punches Storm to no effect.
Round Four
The Avengers claim the initiative and Speed punches Storm ineffectually.
Storm electricutes Speed, and Firestar flies up to Bucky and punches him for a wound.
Noh-Varr activates White Running and charges Storm, knocking her out.
Firestar Microwaves Noh-Varr for three wounds. Angel flies Beast forwards.
Noh-Varr punches Firestar for three wounds, leaving her bruised and bloodied.
Firestar fails to harm Noh-Varr, even as Beast leaps up and punches him to no effect.
Round Five
The X-Men claim the initiative, and Firestar inflicts two wounds on Noh-Varr with a Microwave Beam before Beast knocks him out, eliminating the Avengers’ round.
Firestar punches Bucky, but he blocks. Beast also strikes Bucky, inflicting two wounds.
Bucky parries another of Firestar’s blows, before Hank strikes him for another wound.
Round Six
Bucky claims the initiative and shoots Firestar through the head before turning and shooting Beast in the leg.
Hank responds by knocking Bucky out.
X-Men Victorious, Beast 1 wound, Angel unwounded, Toad unwounded, Professor X unwounded.
Overview: Wow, Firestar was on a roll there! Anyway, Speed still wasn't a massive factor here, but he was fun, it's nice having someone who can recover your Order Markers, and I like that he gets that little boost to subtract from the enemy's defence during the rest of that round.
