Re: The Book of Speed - Danger Room Testing

- Theme Test - Inconclusive, seeing as I don’t know the character, but nothing felt wrong
- Mirror Test - Pass
- Bonding Test - Pass
- Mutant synergy is no issue, and due to Reluctant Avenger being his big thing, he’s unlikely to be in any X-Men, Brotherhood or Horseman builds anyway - a Mutant sidekick could be nice for him but it’s nothing massive. Apart from that, he has attack bonding with Kate, which, again, is fun and useful, but nothing scary.
- Synergies Test - Pass - Reluctant Avenger is a fun little bonus to a Young Avenger build. I am going to ask, though - ever consider expanding it to figures with Avengers Markers as well as Rookies? Would make army builds for him more versatile, and it feels a little weird to me for a power with the word Avenger in it not to reference AMs, but maybe that's just me, as I said, I don't know this guy.
- Power Check - Pass
- Fun Test - Pass
- Fun Competitive Test - Pass
- Drafting Test - Pass
, though only in a Rookie build.
- Usage Test - Pass - Molecular Destabilisation is niche, but nice if you see opponents' next to a weak DO, the enemy has clustered squaddies, or even if a mortally wounded hero can be picked off while next to an ally. I doubt I'd use it much, but if the opportunity comes up, it'll be pretty damn nice.
- Strategy Test - Pass - Reluctant Avenger makes him a good reserve force, and Molecular Destabilistaion has its strategic uses as I mentioned. Also, you’ll want to make as much use of him as you can while he’s stepping in for someone - he’s better doing that than when you activate him normally, which is pretty interesting.

Thoughts On The Tested Unit's Cost, Balance, & Draftibility:

I think I’ve said everything I have to say. I’ll be honest, I’m not really excited about this guy, but he’s a nice little addition to a faction which should, if Kate and Noh-Varr are any indication, be a blast to play.
