Re: The Book of Speed - Danger Room Testing
C3G STANDARD PLAYTEST FEEDBACK FORM
NAME OF THE PLAYTEST UNIT: Speed @170
Army Test
Map: Custom (HYDRA Gehenna Base with houses instead of castle walls)
Units: Speed, Hawkeye (Kate), Noh-Varr, Stature, Hawkeye (Clint) (II), Kid Flash (1000) vs Fantastic Four (1000)

Army Test
Map: Custom (HYDRA Gehenna Base with houses instead of castle walls)
Units: Speed, Captain America (C3G), Hawkeye (Kate), Stature, Angel (Warren) (800) vs Venom (Hasbro), Nite Owl, Batgirl (Cass), Robin (Dick), Robin (Damian), Ragdoll, Oracle (800)
Spoiler Alert!
Speed ends up being the only casualty in a steamroll for the Young Avengers team. Stature has two big all-skull rolls that completely punk Batgirl and Venom, and the Vigilantes seriously struggle with their attack rolls.
Speed himself doesn't get up to much. He puts a couple wounds on Robin, but can't quite get that Molecular Destabilization kill. Speed mainly just gets picked at by sidekicks when they can't get at a better target, but that's enough to put him down.
Worth noting that Speed's presence does encourage the Vigilantes to avoid the center of the map, for fear of getting too many people next to the Rock Outcrops. Doesn't seem like a huge factor in how this one shook out, though.
Unit Summary:- Damage Done (Normal Attack): not used
- Reluctant Avenger: not used. Vigilantes took him out before the other Rookies
- Superspeed: avoided LEAs and helped movement throughout
- Molecular Destabilization: 2 wounds to Robin (Dick) in 2 attacks
- Damage Taken: 2 wounds in 1 attack from Nite Owl, 0 wounds in 2 attacks from Damian, 2 wounds in 2 attacks from Dick
Who won? List figures remaining in the winning army (include life remaining for heroes): Captain America, Hawkeye, Angel, and Stature unwounded
THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT'S COST, BALANCE, & DRAFTABILITY: Solid addition to the expanding Young Avengers. Loving the interplay between these guys now that you can really build an army around them. Speed himself feels solid but not amazing. He didn't do much in that second game, but he's kinda by his nature not going to shine when you're kicking butt.
