Re: The Book of Sunfire - Public Testing (Waiting for DR)
Running out of time here, so I decided to run some games myself. A couple of wins in an optimal match-up, then a loss against a tougher army. That puts him at 4 wins and 4 losses in public testing, 4/6 if you count the Initial games done after the change. I'm comfortable with Sunfire at either 240 or 250. Thoughts? Any objections to moving forward?

GAME SUMMARY:
Things really went against the Lanterns this game. Both teams clashed quickly in the first round, with Blue Lantern dealing a couple of wounds to Ms. Marvel; Sunfire used the “X” to come speeding out of the base and hit Blue Lantern for 2 wounds in return though. Green Lantern went for Sunfire after that, but after dealing 3 wounds on his first attack, he hit a cold streak, failing three subsequent attacks before finally finishing off Sunfire. Green Lantern tried to use the Decoys to lock down Hawkeye and Ms. Marvel, but they kept getting one-shotted, and failed multiple disengagement rolls against the Avengers. Both Green Lantern and Blue Lantern went down at the start of the third round, taking the last Decoy with them.
Round One: Army 1 wins Initiative.
ARMY 1: Hawkeye carries Ms. Marvel.
ARMY 2: Blue Lantern advances.
ARMY 1: Hawkeye repositions.
ARMY 2: Guy creates a Decoy and sends it ahead of him, then places a wound to Overextend, repositioning both him and the Decoy (which fails its attack on Hawkeye).
ARMY 1: Hawkeye destroys the Decoy and Ms. Marvel burns 1 of Guy’s batteries.
ARMY 2: Blue Lantern flies into position, heals Guy a wound, then puts 2 wounds on Ms. Marvel; Sunfire uses the “X” to put 2 wounds on Blue Lantern in return.
Round Two: Army 1 wins Initiative.
ARMY 1: Ms. Marvel and Hawkeye put 1 wound on Guy and 1 on Blue Lantern.
ARMY 2: Guy creates another Decoy but goes after Sunfire, putting 3 wounds on him; he then places a wound to Overextend but fails to do damage.
ARMY 1: Ms. Marvel destroys a Decoy while Sunfire puts 1 wound on Guy with Raining Fire.
ARMY 2: Guy fails against Sunfire (using 1 of Blue Lantern’s markers).
ARMY 1: Ms. Marvel and Hawkeye move out of engagement (Hawkeye takes 1 wound) to burn 2 of Guy’s batteries.
ARMY 2: Guy, spending his last marker and one of Blue Lantern’s markers, finally kills Sunfire.

GAME SUMMARY:
A rematch from the previous game, but this time the Lanterns played smarter and luck was a little more fair. Hawkeye and Ms. Marvel positioned a little outside their base to snipe at the Lanterns. However, Green Lantern played careful on his positioning, and timed his Overextend to blast past those two and go for Sunfire, leaving them engaged to a Decoy. Hawkeye and Ms. Marvel both avoided the disengagement wound and chased after Green Lantern, but despite their efforts Sunfire was KOed by the start of the second round. Green Lantern then took a disengagement wound to rush back to Blue Lantern in hopes of getting healed, this time leaving the Avengers engaged with two Decoys. They followed him anyways, this time taking a disengagement wound each. Blue Lantern stepped in and KOed Hawkeye on his second attack but by that point it was too late and Green Lantern was down, taking all three Decoys with him. Despite no longer having the boost from Green Lantern, Blue Lantern put up a good fight and actually managed to deal Ms. Marvel 3 wounds before being KOed.

ARMY 1: Hawkeye carries Ms. Marvel.
ARMY 2: Guy advances.
ARMY 1: Hawkeye fails.
ARMY 2: Guy creates a Decoy and sends it to engage Ms. Marvel and Hawkeye, then places a wound to Overextend and go after Sunfire, dealing 2 wounds.
ARMY 1: Hawkeye and Ms. Marvel both dodges disengagement attacks to go after Guy, putting 1 wound on him.

ARMY 2: Guy creates a Decoy and kills Sunfire, then removes a battery to Overextend and fly away (taking 1 disengagement wound), activating another Decoy to fly in and engage Hawkeye.

GAME SUMMARY:
It was a slow game to start as Reed rolled poorly on his early rolls, with the fighting not really starting until the second round. However, Reed got in a good roll when it counted, and the Fan4 managed to KO Cable quickly. Sunfire got to use Honorable Defender here, but only managed 1 wound to Jocasta. Cyclops was able to maneuver Blob unto height next to She-Hulk, but they struggled to break through the Fan4’s defense. Sunfire set-up to use Raining Fire, but he then got locked down by Reed, making him virtually useless. Jubilee managed to score a wound to Reed and finish off Jocasta, but it wasn’t enough. Both her and Sunfire were down by the end of the third round, and Blob followed the round after. Cyclops got off a couple of good attacks but couldn’t land any killing blows before being KOed in the fifth round.
