TEST 1
Map: Custom
Units: Zemo vs. Batman (200)
Zemo’s single wound was from Evasive Strike. Batman missed several other Evasive Strike rolls, though, and despite height, he rolled poorly on attacks and defense. Meanwhile, Zemo’s Swordplay proved very useful.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Zemo with 1 Wound wins Turn 3, Round 2.
TEST 2
Map: Custom
Units: Zemo vs. Batman (200)
Batman had no successful Evasive Strike rolls, but he had much better attack and defense rolls, including a 3 skull batarang attack. Once again, Batman mostly had height, thanks to Bat-Grapple.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Batman with 2 Wounds wins Turn 5, Round 1.
TEST 3
Map: Custom
Units: Zemo vs. Black Panther (200)
Vibranium Defense was just too much for Zemo and his attack of 4, even with the auto skull.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Black Panther with Full Life wins Turn 2, Round 2.
TEST 4
Map: Custom
Units: Zemo vs. Black Panther (200)
Same story as the last game.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Black Panther with Full Life wins Turn 6, Round 1.
TEST 5
Map: Custom
Units: Zemo vs. Baron von Strucker (210)
This was a duel of pistols, as the threat of water and Satan’s Claw kept Zemo safely at range. Despite not having his sword in play, Zemo rolled better on attacks.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Zemo with 3 Wounds wins Turn 6, Round 1.
TEST 6
Map: Custom
Units: Zemo vs. Baron von Strucker (210)
Zemo took the risk of engaging Strucker at height disadvantage at the end of Round 1, but he rolled hot and nasty for Swordplay and got an initiative switch in Round 2, helping him to put all five wounds on Strucker in two straight turns.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Zemo with Full Life wins Turn 1, Round 2.
TEST 7
Map: Custom
Units: Zemo vs. Red Skull (Hasbro) (190)
Red Skull had height due to Zemo wanting to get in melee to use his sword. Despite missing all of his Dust of Death rolls and not being able to use Master Manipulator, Red Skull kept this one really close and felt evenly-matched with Zemo.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Zemo with 4 Wounds wins Turn 2, Round 2.
TEST 8
Map: Custom
Units: Zemo vs. Red Skull (Hasbro) (190)
Zemo managed to engage Red Skull on even ground and eviscerated him in one turn of 3 brutal attacks.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Zemo with Full Life wins Turn 4, Round 1.
TEST 9
Map: Custom
Units: Zemo vs. Captain America (Hasbro) (220)

Who won and how many wounds did they have? Captain America with Full Life wins Turn 2, Round 2.

This was closer, but Zemo just couldn’t get in enough solid attacks to best Cap. The final wound came from Counter Strike once more.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Captain America with 3 Wounds wins Turn 3, Round 2.

Army Test
- Does it pass, Yes or No? Yes
- What should be the unit's point value? 200
- Give a brief overview. Master Swordplay really shone with the Masters of Evil bonus from the older Zemo, but with Heinrich Zemo around, Helmut’s other powers weren’t used as much. This was a nice close match!
Map: Custom
Units: Baron Helmut Zemo (200), Baron Heinrich Zemo (170), Baron von Strucker (210), Red Skull (220), Scorpion (200) (1,000) vs. Captain America (240), Bucky (60), Falcon (140), Uncle Sam (240), Sharon Carter (90), U.S. Agent (230) (1,000)
Spoiler Alert!
This was a fierce battle. Master of Deception never really came into play, as the older Zemo was able to provide plenty of Order Marker flexibility, but I still gave Helmut Zemo the X-Marker in all but one round to keep Best Laid Plans active. The Avengers kept their X-Markers as bluffers in a few rounds, but mostly removed it to avoid the initiative disadvantage. Best Laid Plans only helped the Masters of Evil win initiative once or twice.
In this match up, Master Swordplay was huge (with the Masters of Evil boost always giving Helmut Zemo one extra attack) and he managed to .
Red Skull led the pack, hoping to use Master Motivator as often as possible, and the wounds he caused on Uncle Sam early got Scorpion into play, allowing his tail to wound Sam and Bucky or Bucky and USAgent in tandem. Bucky’s machine gun and Cap’s shield took care of the Cosmic Cube early, but Red Skull stuck around for a while, helping finish Bucky and Uncle Sam. Cap finally punched out Red Skull, though, with a little help from Falcon, and a wounded USAgent used ruthless counter strike and his fists to take down Scorpion.
This set up end game with wounded Cap and USAgent (holding the Cosmic Cube), Falcon, and Sharon Carter (who was still in the start zone). Helmut Zemo managed to use Master Swordplay to put the last four wounds on Cap, while USAgent used the Cosmic Cube and his own shield to put wounds on both Zemos. In the following round, Heinrich Zemo ensured Helmut Zemo would have back-to-back attacks on USAgent, thanks to using Adhesive X on his card. Even without the X-Marker auto skull, Helmut Zemo was able to put the last two wounds on USAgent in one attack, (helping him avoid ruthless counter strike). Then Helmut was able to blast Falcon for three wounds, then finish him with the Cosmic Cube, after Falcon took out Heinrich Zemo. This set up end game with Helmut having only a couple of wounds, versus full life Sharon Carter. Sharon got in four or six shots from height, but Helmut Zemo managed to love long enough to use his Master Swordplay and the still-in-effect Masters of Evil bonus to get her to the brink of death.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Sharon Carter with 3 Wounds wins Turn 2, Round 8.

Army Test
- Does it pass, Yes or No? Yes
- What should be the unit's point value? 200?
- Give a brief overview. This was a rough match up for Zemo on a map where without flying he gave up height advantage a lot. He was Enchantress’ only target for Enchantment, which hurt, as did their dueling over the X-Marker.
