Heavy Hitter or Mid-Level Hero Test
- Does it pass, Yes or No? Yes
- What should be the unit's point value? 200 feels good.
- Give a brief overview. Cyborg is definitely a lot less swingy now, but still feels at home right around 200.
Spoiler Alert!
TEST 1
Map: Custom
Units: Cyborg vs. Batman (200)
Batman hit 2 of 4 Evasive Strike rolls and Cyborg healed two wounds at the end of rounds. Cyborg mostly used his special attack here, though his normal attack would have had the same value after about turn three when Batman moved into engagement. Batman won initiative for Round 3 to finish things.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Batman with 3 wounds wins Turn 1, Round 3.
TEST 2
Map: Custom
Units: Cyborg vs. Batman (200)
Cyborg healed two wounds again here, but Batman only hit 1 of 5 Evasive Strike rolls this time and that was his undoing. Even winning initiative in Round 3 didn’t save Batman.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Cyborg with 4 wounds wins Turn 1, Round 3.
TEST 3
Map: Custom
Units: Cyborg vs. Gambit (210)
This one went back and forth a lot, with Cyborg mostly using his melee attack due to wanting to keep Gambit engaged, but Gambit merely disengaging and continuing to use his special attack.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Gambit with 3 wounds wins Turn 3, Round 2.
TEST 4
Map: Custom
Units: Cyborg vs. Gambit (210)
Cyborg got more use out of his special attack this time since he forced Gambit to abandon height in order to stay non-adjacent for his special attack. Cyborg kept height happily and fired away with his cannon, but even at height disadvantage, Gambit’s cards are nasty.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Gambit with 3 wounds wins Turn 2, Round 2.
TEST 5
Map: Custom
Units: Cyborg vs. Rhino (220)
Cyborg only rolled one skull on his first cannon shot thanks to having moved four spaces, and then only one on his second cannon shot, despite being engaged and not moving at all (just a poor roll). Rhino, on the other hand, charged Cyborg for his first attack, rolling 5 skulls on 8 dice and then hit 4 skulls on 5 dice for his second attack.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Rhino with Full Life wins Turn 3, Round 1.
TEST 6
Map: Custom
Units: Cyborg vs. Rhino (220)
This went much the same as the last match, except Cyborg rolled slightly better on attack.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Rhino with 2 wounds wins Turn 3, Round 1.
TEST 7
Map: Custom
Units: Cyborg vs. Killer Croc (200)
Killer Croc tried using his Death Roll on a swamp space adjacent to Cyborg, but only hit his first roll. Cyborg responded with back-to-back normal attacks from height, thanks to an initiative switch, that took Croc down.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Cyborg with Full Life wins Turn 1, Round 2.
TEST 8
Map: Custom
Units: Cyborg vs. Killer Croc (200)
Killer Croc favored his normal attack this time around, only giving Cyborg one attack from height. Cyborg’s healing gave him the edge in survival, but Killer Croc’s better base stats proved strong enough for the win.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Killer Croc with 3 wounds wins Turn 3, Round 2.
TEST 9
Map: Custom
Units: Cyborg vs. Doctor Light (190)
Cyborg rolled really well on defense and finished with a nice 5 skull roll to end it after losing initiative for Round 2. Doctor Light started strong with a 6 dice attack from height and range, but Cyborg defended it, then closed into an engagement, and Doctor Light couldn’t do anything from there.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Cyborg with Full Life wins Turn 1, Round 2.
TEST 10
Map: Custom
Units: Cyborg vs. Doctor Light (190)
Doctor Light rolled horribly to start the game, but managed to stick around long enough to see the rolls start going the other way. On the last four turns when he had 1 life left and Cyborg had 2 life left, he twice rolled 3 skulls on 4 dice and Cyborg twice rolled 1 skull on 5 dice. Cyborg healed one wound after each round (so 3 in all).
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Doctor Light with 4 wounds wins Turn 2, Round 4.

Squad Test
- Does it pass, Yes or No? Yes
- What should be the unit's point value? 220
- Give a brief overview. Cyborg squeaked this one out. He had two life left, but with the way the Cops were rolling attacks, he could have lost them quickly had his defensive rolls turned.
Map: Custom
Units: Cyborg vs. Bad Cops x4 (220)

Squad Test
- Does it pass, Yes or No? Yes
- What should be the unit's point value? 200
- Give a brief overview. The cannon, as advertised, is a nice squad buster.
Map: Custom
Units: Cyborg vs. Amazon Warriors x2 (200)
Spoiler Alert!
Cyborg heals one wound here. The Amazon got back to back 6 dice attacks with their spear throw, and Cyborg took 4 wounds in all from them. He’d walked 4 spaces the turn before their first spear throw to shoot at a crowd with 1 die on his cannon, rolling a skull, but failing to take any of his three targets out. Then the Amazon Warriors finished the round with one Spear Throw and got initiative in Round 2 for a second Spear Throw at full power. Cyborg finally got to attack, though, and blasted 5 out of 6 Amazons with one attack, taking out 4 of 5 targets. The remaining two Amazons hit him from height, one getting a wound on Cyborg, but he moved to even height, blasting them both simultaneously with a 3 die attack, but failing to wound either, then withstood another round of attacks before taking them both out with a fully charged cannon.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Cyborg wins with 4 wounds Turn 3, Round 2.

Army Test
- Does it pass, Yes or No? Yes
- What should be the unit's point value? 190-200
- Give a brief overview. Cyborg fell Round 4 after putting 4 wounds on Gorilla Grodd and taking out 4 Gorilla City Warriors.
Map: Custom
Units: Robin (100), Aqualad (60), Wonder Girl (140), Cyborg (200), Speedy (90), Kid Flash (110) (700) vs. Gorilla Grodd (225), Gorilla City Warriors x3 (375), Weather Wizard (100) (700)
Spoiler Alert!
High Tech Targeting still hasn’t seen any use due to a proliferation of clumped Simians for Cyborg to shoot at. The Teen Titans weren’t rolling defense very well early and Robin and Aqualad fell quickly. But Speedy, Kid Flash, and Cyborg in particular came through and took down Grodd and most of the Gorilla City Warriors. Then Wonder Girl, in Round 4, inspired by the deaths of Kid Flash and Cyborg, knocked another Gorilla City Warrior into kingdom come. Then in Round 5 she lassoed and KO’d another Gorilla City Warrior.
This set up end game with a 1 wound Speedy and a Full Life Wonder Girl versus one Gorilla City Warrior and a Full Life Weather Wizard. On two attacks each from Speedy and Wonder Girl, they couldn’t take out the last Simian, however, and Weather Wizard flew in and made them pay with his lightning.
Had Robin stuck around a little bit longer earlier instead of whiffing fairly easily, or had Wonder Girl and Speedy rolled better attacks at the very end, this easily could have gone the other way.
Either way, I believe Cyborg did his part here.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Weather Wizard with Full Life and one Gorilla City Warrior win Turn 2, Round 6.
