Re: The Book of Parasite - DESIGNING

C3G INITIAL PLAYTEST FEEDBACK FORM

NAME OF THE TEST UNIT Parasite

- THEME TEST/ Check to see if there are any powers or stats on the test unit card that does not accurately reflect the theme or likeness of what the character would and could do. Also consider destructible objects, and whether or not this characters powers should affect them.
Pass, though the theme has been dulled a bit on the character over the years, I do like it, and this design really fits it.

- MIRROR TEST/ Check to see if the unit were played against itself, if there would be any loops that would upset the balance of the Game.
Pass

- BONDING TEST/ Compare the unit card with all possible currently existing Bonding abilities to make sure there are no continual Bonding possibilities that do not stop appropriately or do not stop at all. This is to prevent loops in Bonding.
Pass

- SYNERGIES TEST/ Compare the unit card with all possible currently existing synergies to make sure there are no factors that could break the game by making any unit too powerful or too weak.
Pass

- POWER CHECK/ Consider the test unit and all existing units and all glyphs to compare to and check for any powers that could be over amplified and break the game. Each power must define when it takes place, who or what it affects, and What are the stipulations on the power if there are any.
Pass

- FUN TEST/ Consider whether or not the design was fun to play.
Pass

- FUN COMPETITIVE TEST/ Consider whether or not the design was fun to play against.
Pass

- DRAFTING TEST/ Consider whether or not this design is worth drafting.
Pass

- USAGE TEST/ Consider whether or not all of the powers on this card were used or at least usable.
Pass

- STRATEGY TEST/ Consider whether or not the design offers any real strategy or interesting tactics to the overall game.
Pass

Heavy Hitter or Mid-Level Hero Test
- Does it pass, Yes or No? Yes.
- What should be the unit's point value? I really feel that he could sit anywhere between 200-220, but I know he has the potential for example, to put 5 wounds on Superman, so I am going with 220 from here.
- Give a brief overview. The theme of trying to steal life energy to get his attack power up is great. There is plenty of opportunities for Parasite to fail to drain/heal, but usually he will hit his roll for 1 drain/heal.
Spoiler Alert!

Squad Test
- Does it pass, Yes or No? Yes.
- What should be the unit's point value? 220.
- Give a brief overview. He was a big target going in and I thought he may fall like a chump, but once he starts healing up and draining people, he is a nice-decent counter to squads but still keeping things balanced.
Map: Custom.
Units: Parasite - VS - S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents x2.
Spoiler Alert!

Squad Test
- Does it pass, Yes or No? Yes.
- What should be the unit's point value? 220.
- Give a brief overview. He is kinda slow, but once engaged with several units, he is kinda fast in that he can potentially kill two men in a turn and heal as well.
Map: Custom.
Units: Parasite - VS - Hawmen x2
Spoiler Alert!

Army Test
- Does it pass, Yes or No? Yes.
- What should be the unit's point value? 220.
- Give a brief overview. He really handed it to Batman, but Batman did have him on the ropes. The Heal/Drain feels very balanced as is and I am happy with the design.
Map: Custom.
Units: Parasite and Lex Luthor (Battlesuit) - VS - Superman I and Batman I.
Spoiler Alert!

Army Test
- Does it pass, Yes or No? Yes.
- What should be the unit's point value? 220.
- Give a brief overview. He isn't that difficult to kill really, but he is absolutely terrifying for anyone with lots of points and low life numbers.
Map: Custom.
Units: Parasite, Absorbing Man, Two-Face, Electra, and Kingpin - VS - Professor X, Angel, Jean Grey, Cyclops, Beast, and Iceman.
Spoiler Alert!
