Figure used for this test is Box Heroclix Figure

- THEME TEST/ Check to see if there are any powers or stats on the test unit card that does not accurately reflect the theme or likeness of what the character would and could do. Also consider destructible objects, and whether or not this characters powers should affect them.
Design 1 YES, Design 2 YES

- MIRROR TEST/ Check to see if the unit were played against itself, if there would be any loops that would upset the balance of the Game.
Design 1: PASS, DESIGN 2 PASS: If either of these designs did play themselves, it would be funny watching them toss wounds off each other. Could play out to be lengthy battle.

- BONDING TEST/ Compare the unit card with all possible currently existing Bonding abilities to make sure there are no continual Bonding possibilities that do not stop appropriately or do not stop at all. This is to prevent loops in Bonding.
PASS

- SYNERGIES TEST/ Compare the unit card with all possible currently existing synergies to make sure there are no factors that could break the game by making any unit to powerful or too weak.
PASS

- POWER CHECK/ Consider the test unit and all existing units and all glyphs to compare to and check for any powers that could be over amplified and break the game. Each power must define when it takes place, who or what it affects, and What are the stipulations on the power if there are any.
Both Designs can be a real killer you do not kill other mutants in his team right away. You need to kill the other mutants he is bonded with first then deal with him.

- FUN TEST/ Consider whether or not the design was fun to play.
PASS

- FUN COMPETITIVE TEST/ Consider whether or not the design was fun to play against.
PASS

- DRAFTING TEST/ Consider whether or not this design is worth drafting.
YES. A great addition to any mutant army.

- USAGE TEST/ Consider whether or not all of the powers on this card were used or at least usable.
All of the special powers did work in for both design 1 and design 2.

- STRATEGY TEST/ Consider whether or not the design offers any real strategy or interesting tactics to the overall game.
Design 1 works great with figures that hold other figures in place or force them to move around. Jean Grey, Blob, and Magneto can allow him to move into position to use Life Force Drain more effectively.

Version 1
Attack or Life Drain (auto-wound / heal)

Army Test of Original Design (1)
- Does it pass
, Yes or No No. Unit feels overpowered.
- What should be the unit's point value? 300 to 320??
- Give a brief overview. This was a pretty one sided game. The Professor X combo with Jean Grey and Omega Red was very effective. Jean was able to move figures into positions that allowed Omega Red to use either of his attacks to their fill potental.
Map: Road Rampage
Units: Player 1: Omega Red (Version 1), Blob, Jean Grey, Professor X, and a Shield Sniper. 995 Points
Player 2: Thor, Invisable Woman, and Shield AgentsX3. 975 Points

Spoiler Alert!

Version 2
Attack + Life Drain (heal chance on wound)

Sorry for the confusion.

Army Test of the New Design (2)
- Does it pass
, Yes or No? Yes
- What should be the unit's point value? With the new mechanic I would have to say this brings him down in cost a little. I'd say 285 to 300.
- Give a brief overview. This time Red Omega (Version 2) goes up against all Hydra and falls. Jean Grey and Toad fell early in the game leaving Omega Red all by himself. He did kill Baron von Strucker and lots of Hydra Agents, but in the end, Madame Hydra and her Agents did shoot him down.
Map: Ruins of Pine Tree Marsh
Units: Player 1: Omega Red (Version 2), Jean Grey, Toad, Professor X, Civilians X3, and 5th Precinct Beat Cops 995 Points
Player 2: Red Skull(C3G), Baron von Strucker, Madame Hydra, Punisher, and Hydra Agents X3 990 Points

Spoiler Alert!

The closing I would have to say that I really liked the original version of Omega Red better than the second simply because you have to think to yourself about which attack you are going to use. The situations seem to always change making the decision making process more difficult.
I really did not care for the second design because of two reasons. First off Telescopic Tenticles and Life Force Drain feel like just 1 power. Life Force Drain is nothing more than a continuation of the first special power. Secondly the Life Force Drain special power is not worded very good on which figures are affected by Life Force Drain. I assume it is the two I have just attacked, but it could be clearer. Also if I kill a figure with Telescopic Tenticles, do I still get to use Life Force Drain?
In closing I really like original version better, but if version 2 is what your looking for it still works as a great figure.

Thank you for letting me test your figure,
