Re: Doctor Doom - Playtesting Phase
After reviewing this playtest, I was a bit alarmed at how poorly Doom did in the Heavy Hitter test, but I then noticed that he increasingly got better and so I assumed that Flame Gryphon just became more experienced with him as the test went on. However, when I I asked Flame Gryphon about this, he said that he believed that Doom just naturally performs better in an army. I believe it is a little bit of both IMO. I am looking forward to the last test, though I sorta wish Hahma was the one doing it...

Units: Dr. Doom and Silver Surfer (695) VS. Abomination and Hulk (690)
Spoiler Alert!

Dr. Doom, instead of helping his 'ally', moves to the top of the tower so he can get a better view of Abomination. Abomination, not noticing the metal-clad figure, gets nailed with 3 Wounds. Meanwhile, the Surfer dodges a wild swing from the Hulk, then flies up to Hulk's level, and blasts him at point-blank range. However, the Hulk bears the entire attack without flinching for 0 Wounds. Abomination leaps to where the Surfer and Hulk are battling, but misses his weakened swing. Doom moves down from his tower so his weapond can hit Abomination. The shot nails abomination with 4 Wounds. Abomination blindly leaps next to Doom, but fails to notice a trap on his landing spot. Said trap leaves Abomination unconcious at Dooms feet. His following blast misses the Hulk, who respond by attempting to hit the Surfer, who's return blast goes wild, leaving an opening for Hulk to inflict 2 Wounds. Doom then angers the Hulk with a 1 Wound burn. While he's distracted, the Surfer hits him with a Cosmic Blast, causing 2 Wounds. The Hulk, confused, misses his swing at the Surfer, giving the good Doctor another shot (missed,) before the Hulk gathers his wits. The Hulk misses his wild swing, and the momentum from it causes Dooms shot to miss. Confused, the Hulk fails to notice the Surfer about to blast him with 3 Wounds. Now completely angry, Mr. Mean-N'-Green defeats the Silver Surfer. Doom blasts him again, causing Hulk to charge the Doctor, inflicting 5 Wounds. Barely concious, Doom fire one last desperate shot, knocking out the Hulk.
Dr. Doom is the last one standing with 5 Wounds.
