Re: Heroscape with HexScape

I'm going back to college in two weeks and I believe students have free access to a 3D scanner on campus. I can check around when I get there to see what the deal with that is. Do the scans have to...

Re: Painting and Modification Display Thread

I'm planning on doing some highlights like that on my blue units. I'm currently painting up my Blazing Firecats following this guide (http://hot-lead.org/advance/fire_prac.htm). I'll post the results...

Re: First Reading of the Rule Book

This is also important for Jace's spell card that allows pulling cards from opponents' spell graveyards. If a player insists that the enchantment stays and doesn't go to the graveyard when the whole...

Re: The Great Controversy -- or Is It Really?

He's a silly man on the Internet who likes to antagonize groups he doesn't like. He once posted a video challenging atheists to disprove the existence of God and offered a $100,000 prize. It was then...

Re: Magic: the Gathering Strategy Board Game

Just finished up our first game of Arena of the Planeswalkers and we all had a lot of fun playing! It was a three player free-for-all between Blue, Green, and White with a single Toughness +1 glyph...

Re: Magic: the Gathering Strategy Board Game

HeroQuest was pretty different. They used the similar dice but that's about it. HQ was player(s) vs a GM, not PvP like HS and AP. the GM was really supposed to lose, or be a guide for the players to...

Re: Magic: the Gathering Strategy Board Game

In speculation of what future expansions could bring I went to Google Images and searched "magic the gathering planeswalker cards" and found a wealth of cards from the game. The potential for...

Re: Books: What are you currently reading?

Depends on what kind of sci-fi you want to read.

Also, if you haven't read it yet, I recommend Brave New World as another take on 1984.[/QUOTE]

I second Brave New World. From a similar time...

Re: Books: What are you currently reading?

I just finished my first read of George Orwell's 1984. It was quite excellent and I really wish it had been assigned reading during high school as I've heard is often the case at other schools. Not...

Re: BigThumbToe's WorldWorksGames Conversion

This is exactly the type of customization that had been on my mind the last few days! I knew there was a papercraft terrain maker out there that made buildings of this size, I just couldn't remember...

Re: Interested in Jungle/Flocked hexes?

I think you'd probably find more interest if you were to post pictures of a set or two that you've actually flocked yourself.

Re: GCT - Grishnakh's Custom Terrain - 2013 Holiday Game Pic

Does each piece of the smaller buildings fit on size A4 8.5" x 11" paper?

I ask since in a week my friends and I will be going back to school and we may actually have a use for those 400 free...

Re: C3G *SORTABLE* Index

I am a huge fan of this resource and find myself referencing it often! Thanks so much for creating this SirG! I do have a suggestion for an improvement, though as I have very little knowledge of the...

Re: The C3G Cave - Hangout

If you're using superglue, I know that superglue doesn't really work with any paint. It basically melts the paint off, so it falls right off. Best way would be to glue your figure on, then paint the...

Re: Comics: what are you currently reading?

I just managed to run through the entire V for Vendetta graphic novel in one sitting and was blown away by the story and the characters!

Definitely recommend it!

Re: The C3G Cave - Hangout

I went to base some Heroclix minis onto some custom bases I made and I'm having a problem with the plastic simply not bonding to the base. The bases are wood with fine ballast on top and I've based...

Re: ssnover95's Super Customs - Cole MacGrath, Good & Evil

Yeah I've seen many of the ActionClix lines. I actually have had a handful of Halo figures for years, and have toyed around with customs for the Master Chief and other characters. They aren't ready...

Re: GCT - Grishnakh's Custom Terrain - 2013 Holiday Game Pic

I believe HeroScape is "O" scale which is approximately 1:48. Anywhere from 1:43 to 1:50 works quite well though.

Re: Shenron Expansion into Superscape!

Wow for those prices I'll definitely stick to modding my figures :p That Vegeta one looks pretty awesome though, and is probably close enough to ignore scale issues. Nice find with those!

And that...

ssnover95's Super Customs - V for Vendetta

I've been lurking around the super customs forum for quite some time now without making a single contribution. I've decided that I want to give something back, however I can. I'm sure this block of...

Re: Shenron Expansion into Superscape!

I ran into the same issue of power levels when I was thinking about DBZ units as well. Ultimately, the characters would end up being around the power level of Galactus by the end of the Kid Buu Saga...

Re: C3G Community Input Thread v2.0

I'd like to see the following three from C3G in the future:
.:: Toxin (Patrick Mulligan)
.:: Drax the Destroyer
.:: Adam Warlock

That's all for now, I'll be back with more as I immerse myself...
