Re: Index of 3D Scans of Figures

Google drive is one option for file hosting that I know many of us use, you just have to get the settings right for others to access. You could also create a Thingiverse account but that may be more...

When I get a chance I will upload the hexes I created (now that the patent has expired).
Cool. Those would be very worthwhile. :toast:

Re: Index of 3D Printed Stl Files

I've created a terrain section for my Thingiverse (https://www.thingiverse.com/robbdamangames/collections/heroscape-terrain) where I will be uploading various things I've put together.

Re: Suggestions for the C3V

I think you technically have a vote, not that you use it. Should give you the emeritus badge like the rest. :)

Re: C3V/SoV 3D Printable Proxies

Ah that'll be a nice collection. I had started on a Swiftfang proxy but wasn't liking how it was turning out. I do have some Super Battle Droid models I modified which work well for the Zettian...

Re: C3V/SoV 3D Printable Proxies

Cool deal. Let me know what you're working on, duplicates are always good for variation but I'd rather get out things that aren't already available first.

Yeah. I found them there over the weekend and downloaded them all for printing in the not so distant future. Thanks.
Re: C3V/SoV 3D Printable Proxies

I've gone ahead and uploaded everything to a Thingiverse (https://www.thingiverse.com/robbdamangames/designs) for easy sharing. Also adjusted my post in the first page.

Re: Soldiers of Valhalla - nominations and discussion

If you have to rely on nearly broken units like Raelin and Rats for a build that's suboptimal. Can't hurt to review though.

Re: C3V/SoV 3D Printable Proxies

I've learned that Multicloud is nice for combining multiple cloud storage accounts but often requires me to log in over and over to keep the connection active. I should just dump things over to a...

Re: Suggestions for the C3V

I have like 4 copies of this game and the miniatures. It's occasionally found in thrift stores and of course cheap resale on eBay. Was originally going to use some as proxies for gladiatrons but I...

Re: C3V/SoV 3D Printable Proxies

I haven't measured anything but could though really measurements in mm would be easier to teuse in things like Blender.

Major J15 is one proxy I worked up recently, but haven't entirely finished. ...

Re: C3V/SoV 3D Printable Proxies

I moved this discussion to the C3V thread, but in short: the RAW scans are NOT to scale. They need to be sized by the base or by the size of the actual figure.

During processing is when I...

Re: Index of 3D Scans of Figures

Not sure if all the raw scans are the same typically but I've resized up 600% to get to where the ones I've done look proper sized. As far as the ones WK has completed they need to be enlarged 2540%...

Re: Soldiers of Valhalla - nominations and discussion

Arbitrary things get nitpicked at all the time, they also are simple changes that can be made to remove the nitpickery. As I said earlier there are a LOT of skeleton miniatures out there. If the...

Re: Soldiers of Valhalla - nominations and discussion

My typical searches show it's slim pickings out there for the Karrnathi Skeleton however skeletons are of course a very desired miniature so there are a ton out there. Would the Skeleton Key from...

Re: Soldiers of Valhalla - nominations and discussion

The simplicity of the Wildwood runner is of course that it's basically all brown with eyes if you want to bother. So obviously if minis are of that level of complexity it would make it very easy to...

Re: Index of 3D Printed Stl Files

I bought some 3D Solutech Natural Clear PLA but haven't used it yet. Their See Through Blue worked pretty good for Ice Elementals though.
