Re: The Pre-SoV Workshop

About 40% of the Arena miniatures are translucent - two squads of shimmering blue illusions, two squads of cats/phoenixes made of fire. They're not really any different than the Elementals, so I...

Re: The Pre-SoV Workshop

Goalposts are different for everyone - I know some posters have said that the Esenweins and Zombies are unwelcome on their tables because they consider them inappropriate for their families....

Re: The Pre-SoV Workshop

Gale Force sounds best to me. And Prince is fine; it works as a catch-all for "minor dragon royalty," same as Baron.

I don't think a switch from Ullar is needed, though. Maybe Einar? I...

Or, to go a bit further back...

Re: The Pre-SoV Workshop

I like Bloodstorm. Sounds very "blood knight sorcerer heavy metal album," explains the means of attack (it's as storm, so, everyone around him gets damaged!), and the means. I can picture it pretty...

Re: The Pre-SoV Workshop

I don't think three-man is a good idea. The figures used are already on the expensive side, and with three it'd be a consistent 10-15 bucks a squad. That's not insane, but again, this is a swarm you...

Re: The Pre-SoV Workshop

Heavily armored knights don't feel at all Aquila to me, even with the Rhogar connection. Pretty strong Jandar pull for that category, though I like that they're different.

Also, for sheer...

Re: The Pre-SoV Workshop

You could flip it - Elguardian Death Knights. Evokes Valkrill's but doesn't ape it completely.

Re: The Pre-SoV Workshop

Definitely a cool figure, very much in-line with the D&DScape "theory of design" so to speak. Love it.

Re: The Pre-SoV Workshop

I got "Razorpetal Stance" but presumed that "Puma Form" was him magically transforming into a puma, so that one could use a tweak. "Puma Strike" or something might be better. Though Puma in general...

Re: The Pre-SoV Workshop

For what it's worth, I personally wasn't interested in Redevac, but a Tormented personality and "Fit of Madness" would pique my interest a good deal more. Feels more cohesive.
