Re: Saving Private Erevan
Not to start an argument, but I'm very good at nit-picking. :D
Feral: 1. existing in a natural state, as animals or plants; not domesticated or cultivated; wild.
2. having reverted to...

Re: Saving Private Erevan
Something important to remember when playing this scenario is that this DnDscape campaign is meant to be a dungeon-crawling experience, not a regular Heroscape game. Those that have played DnD know...

450 points - Which army?
Hey, everyone. My friends and I are putting on a little no-Marvel 450 point tournament in a week or so. Our mindset are probably half competitive and half playing for fun. I've really been wanting to...

Re: The Book of Tandros Kreel
It's the same ruling as with engagement. If Nilfheim is engaged to a figure and doesn't destroy it with the first Ice Shard Breath Special Attack, he forfeits the rest.

Re: The line of sight
You can adjust the figures at any point during your turn, so simply adjust the figure you're attacking with until it can see who you're attacking, then move it back later if you wish. In the case of...

Re: The Book of Marro Hive
I saw somewhere that Hive + Stingers x3 + Dividers x3 is kind of a nifty strategy...send the stingers out first, then rebirth them while keeping the enemy busy with the Dividers.

Re: Is Q9 really as bad as people say?
I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Well-placed Grok Riders and Warlords can usually get several attacks of 5 on the big robot. The worst I've ever lost is 4 Grok Riders, so it kind of evened...

Re: "Unofficial" Not an Exclusive entry thread
Snap, 5th place! 25 points! Wowweeee! Haha, I'm super pumped, I'm glad you judges all liked my custom! Now I just have to get down to a gaming store to buy some paint, and paint him up proper!
Oh,...

Re: How is everyone dealing with Q9 these days?
The army in my sig defeats Q9 in my house quite often. Unless there's a huge rat screen, you hang the Groks back until the Major is engaged, then charge them in for several attacks of 5. Even if some...

Re: The Book of Tor-Kul-Na
Stompy usually stays alive long enough to go through about half the ranged units, though. 6 life 5 defense can't be taken down in 1 round. He gets worse with Nagrubs. I don't fear ranged squads much,...

Re: Tul-Bak-Ra in a Hole.
But then you'd have to take the map apart to see if he can fit.
I think most people will not be jerks like that, but we may have to contact WotC about whether or not all open hexes are legal...

For all of you to consider because you're all probably awesome since you play Heroscape and have been on this site longer than me and also I'm entering this guy, I present Tu-Kil-Sa, named after...

Re: kafkaesque's Customs Thread
I nerfed Tu-Kil-Sa quite a bit following some playtesting. In practice, the horde of Groks often charges across the field before the enemy has time to properly set up. Any kind of melee screen stops...

Re: kafkaesque's Customs Thread
Increased Lunara's point cost by 20 points.
Added Tu-Kil-Sa, the Marro Warlord. He is also an entrant for the Unofficial "Not an Exclusive" Contest thing.
Figured out how to link the picture so it...

Re: The Book of Mohican River Tribe
These guys are really nifty, but countering them isn't that hard. If you have some kind of area of effect attack (DW9K, Zelrig, James Murphy, AE, Jorhdawn, and so on), they're not hard to deal with...

My very own customs thread! Woooo! 8)
Anyway, the story behind this first one (my only one to date) is that I recently got my sisters hooked on Heroscape. So they naturally decided that it was an...
