Re: The Book of Master Splinter

There's a few figures like that - Elektra has the SI of Elektra Natchios, some of the Street Fighters have their "game names" on top (like Ken/Ken Masters). But that honestly goes back to Thor/Thor...

Re: Valiant Universe Workshop

Here's a shot at marrying our takes. It's still pretty stuffed, so I trimmed down his leadership power a lot to compensate... not entirely happy with it. I went with my "unblockable wound that you...

Re: The Book of Donald Ferguson

I'm fine with using one of the few Coulson minis here if we can find mini pics. Or an unpainted Krav. Or whatever... and leaving the current cards up as an alternative. But in general I like...

Re: The Book of Amanda Waller

As written, yeah, that FAQ reads right. Wouldn't be opposed to tagging a "for the remainder of the game" in there, though, if it can fit. Makes thematic sense and would have minimal balance impact......

Re: Valiant Universe Workshop

Loyal Psiot in theory is a tag for any of the Foundation Psiots. But I see your point in that Livewire is probably the only one we'd ever get to, realistically. It's mostly to box out the Renegades,...

Re: C3G Promotions Dept. - WAVE 29 - CHRISTMAS IN JULY

I like the color-coded bases! Definitely an idea I would steal if I ever got around to rebasing my minis...

Re: Poll: Favorite C3G Design by LD: A3n

Forgot to finally go through these!

For me, it's probably these guys:

Captain Marvel - He's very "lunchbox" and manages to jam in all six of his iconic powers while still feeling super...

Re: Quozl's Design Workshop

We still need an "Army of Kang" squad that uses a hodgepodge of historical Heroscape units. One Knight, one Roman, one Samurai, one Viking.

Re: The Book of General Zod

I think either can be supported by the original text and have no strong preference. Leaning toward the low power B but that's just me being conservative.

Re: Quozl's Design Workshop

ROM was originally in Marvel but Hasbro always had the rights, so they pulled him out.

Dire Wraiths exist in Marvel too. They're actually deviant Skrulls (in the same way there are Deviant humans...

Re: The Book of General Zod

Fine by me, I suppose. At that point you're not making any practical change in execution outside of corner cases.

Re: The Book of General Zod

I'd try to avoid double activations if possible. Always something that can get messy.

But I'm fine with that interpretation. Relatively light touch, should improve him a lot.

Re: DC Lantern Corps: public workshop

I definitely like him as an all for one. I kind of would like there to be a restriction on him counting as a Lantern - like, he's a GL if you have another GL, and a BL if you have another BL. Unless...

Re: Poll: Favorite C3G Design by LD: Johnny139

Lots of great designers still out there, but I think I'm gonna go with A3n for the next round - I was really surprised by the variety when going over his list! Very curious what will end up taking...

Re: The Book of Gorilla-Man

I think Gorilla-Man has a lot of weirdness as-is (like you shouldn't necessarily get the gun, or his secret identity, that sort of thing), so I don't mind the destruction thing having some wonkiness...

Re: The C3G Cave - Hangout

To me GOTG barely feels like a Marvel movie - none of the characters are really reminiscent of the comic versions, outside of maybe Rocket. It just feels like a James Gunn movie, like Slither or...

Re: The C3G Cave - Hangout

I'm also on the "guilty pleasure" wagon. I like superhero media but I always grade it on a curve. I can only think of a few that I'd recommend outside that genre - Raimi Spider-Man, Nolan Batman,...

Re: The Book Judge Hershey (Judgemental Sighs)

I think wording will have to be cleaned up on her SA, but in general I'm happy with the direction here. Being able to unlock "the good stuff" for the Judges is a really fun mechanic, and I like that...

Re: C3G Promotions Dept. - WAVE 29 - CHRISTMAS IN JULY

Yeah, this year is packed! We originally just had smaller SSEs for most of the anniversary, to stick to our "one release a month" plan, but people have been putting pedal to the metal for the past...

Re: The C3G Cave - Hangout

Jane Foster sucks in the MCU, but that's because the movies were bad, not because of the character or actress. Portman is a top-tier actress when she's in a movie that isn't bottom-of-the-barrel...

Re: The Book of General Zod

I'll admit I could have been more vigilant in my initial "I don't like this draft and won't let it move forward" by offering more alternatives and articulating my criticisms. But I did Nay this...

Re: The Book of General Zod

I think he's balanced at 400 with the Soldiers, so on that front, I won't complain.

I'm ultimately still unhappy with the design itself. The original Zod isn't very good, but there is a sense of...

Re: The Book of Optimus Prime

As I've mentioned before - always happy to put a bio together if people aren't happy with Wiki excerpts and all. I'm not always a continuity expert but I can give it a shot.

Here's a quick draft...
