Re: Poll: Favorite C3G Design by LD: Next up Karat!

I'm going with the Kree Soldier/Scout as for my pick. Really love how the Kree faction has come together as an army of heroes instead of relying on squads. I know more pieces are on the way as well.

Re: The Book of King Kong - Initial Monkey Business

Maybe choose someone to protect that is really hard to wound, like Spider-Man or HQ, and try to avoid the issue?

Nebula can take turns after him if he fails to deal any wounds and doesn't need any...

Re: The Book of Astral Plane - Breathing

Alright, I'm already lost as to what you are trying to do here. Just ignore me going forward.

Re: The Book of Astral Plane - Breathing

Unblockable, it makes it so you can't just camp out and hide there on purpose some how but isn't so strong that it punishes you for engaging in a pro-longed fight there either.

Re: The Book of Astral Plane - Breathing

Yeah, I like the idea of a single sheet of hexes anyone can print at home if they want too. How much space do we really need for this extra map? Are figures going to be moving around it a bunch or...

Re: The Book of King Kong

Mind Control is a good reason to keep him Unique. The all OM's required on his card keeps the GCW from being too good an option as well.

Re: The Book of King Kong

I'd be okay with a stat bump up here. 6 base att. seems a little weak for King Kong when Grodd/Gorilla-Man/etc. all have a base att. of 6 already. Def. can stay at 5, I like how he is fairly easy...

Re: Out-there Heaven (Movie, TV, and Video Game Characters)

I own the game, the minis are fine scale wise. I have not painted mine yet, don't know when I'd get around to it really. If they were needed for a card I could use and play in C3G, then that would...

Re: Ronin's Public Workshopping Thread

Archangle is one of my favorites, but it's in part because over the course of a long game the law of averages results in several wounds. 17+ is hard to hit on it's own, but getting up to 3 rolls...

Re: The Book of Old One Eye (Initial PT complete)

I was never a fan of having a power on one Event Hero that only worked if you drafted a 2nd (specific) Event Hero into your army. Too rigid an army build structure for my tastes. The Huge figure...

Re: Poll: Favorite C3G Design by LD: Next up Quozl!

Karat has had a resurgence of activity of late after taking some personal time away from the project, as such he actually has as many designs sitting On Deck and unreleased (8) as he ran from start...

Re: Poll: Favorite C3G Design by LD: Next up Quozl!

Alright, quozl has selected Karat as the next one up and I'm calling this one as done.

The favorite LD was a close tie up until that last rush of votes. Frankenstein ended up pulling away with...

Re: Out-there Heaven (Movie, TV, and Video Game Characters)

Yeah, that looks pretty good as well. I say we vote on them soon and get to making some shiny cards.

Re: Out-there Heaven (Movie, TV, and Video Game Characters)

He only does one small thing, but he does it really well. That seems like a smart approach for him.

Re: The C3G Cave - Hangout

I got it sorted out, it was a comixology issue not an Amazon issue.

Re: The C3G Cave - Hangout

So I went and grabbed all those comics, and then signed in using my Amazon account that I've had and used for years, I even have a Amazon CC linked to it. It suddenly asked me for my birthday...

Re: NS' Repaints: Tagawa Samurai 4/4

Yeah, for a long time this card and the Predator card were my favorite ones from an artistic point of view. There has been a recent surge of more interesting card borders of late though so now I'm...

Re: TV: What Are You Watching?

Yeah when I was a young man I found I knew a ton about WWII, but little about WWI. I've since remedied that to some degree, but I still know more about WWII.
