It's possible that your FLGS doesn't deal with WotC directly, and is going thru someone like Diamond or another secondary dealer for ordering their product. That would account for them not getting...

The reason Toys R Us is no longer selling it was because they tried to strong arm WotC to cut them an insane deal on the product....

The consumer doesn't always get the choice though. Especially if they're ordering by mail-order. It would needlessly complicate things if the Online Stores had to list each different paintjob...

If you mean the Marvelscape figure should be based on the movie appearance, then no. Just no. Often times the character and costume designs for the movies are changed simply for the sake of changing...
