Re: 10 Points Under - Heroscape Casting Videos

Jumping back here a bit, but I actually agreed with your decision to lead with Moltenclaw. The changes I would have made would be:

- Position my FEs and Kurrok in the startzone such that Jorhdawn...

Re: C3V/SoV Question Dump

Most double-spaced figures should be on a narrow peanut; there's only a handful of exceptions that come to mind (Hrognak, Quahon, Mok, Bramcephys... that's it maybe?)

Single-spaced large/huge...

Re: Online NHSD Event

OK here's a quick write-up of my games.

For the reasons that have been outlined by others, I felt that Axegrinders were the meta pick. I didn't want to play them, but I wanted to make sure I had...

Re: 10 Points Under - Heroscape Casting Videos

It seemed clear as soon as SirH's R1 OM placement was shown that he had no intention of moving out of his startzone. This is certainly a defensible strategy. That said, I would have put Ana/Rae at...

Re: Sports: NFL

The Broncos have now signed Blake Bortles. Apparently (given my history with Bortles and Flacco in this thread) the more I criticize a QB, the more likely they are to end up in Denver.

Re: Sports: NFL

The stat that Lamar Jackson is 22-1 as a regular season starter against the non-Chiefs, and 0-3 against the Chiefs, is pretty crazy.

But let's be honest. Nobody cares about this small potatoes...

Re: 10 Points Under - Heroscape Casting Videos

This is amazing and I'm very thankful that you put it together, Bigga. It's a fantastic level of detail.

One concern I have, from the perspective of a tournament organizer trying to bring in new...

Re: Green Wyrmling discussion and playtesting

It's not, though. No dragon had only 3 attack until the Wymlings, why should lower Move be sacred? The Red Wyrmling got lower Move than Zelrig (Blue Wyrmling also could've been slower than an...

Re: Green Wyrmling discussion and playtesting

I don't like dropping the move. It makes them slower than every other dragon or wyrmling and does very little to weaken the power of the passive, Raelin-backed version while weakening their use in...

Re: Green Wyrmling discussion and playtesting

I don't see why green wyrmlings in their perfect matchup with A+ backing should be expected to lose.

The goal is to have a real tournament-style event where everyone has a chance to play against everyone else in every round. A tournament where the players are not in one player pool from...

Re: Quick Chime In

In my experience it's rare that you regret an OM on Deathreavers, but you often regret lacking an OM on Deathreavers.

Re: Sports: NFL

To implement it you introduce 4 or 5 expansion teams, and combine those with some clubs from the XFL and CFL to make the core of the second division. Then the next year you contract the NFL to 24...

Re: 2020 C3V Playtest Tournament - Quarterfinals until 9/6

Nilf OP, pls nerf. Maybe 200 points, or less defense.

We played Cuzmo's armies against each other, and Nilfheim just kind of wrecked shop. Really good map for him, not much else to say really.

Re: 4th=10th

I think using a suiciding special attacker or hero killer is a viable strategy for the 4th at lower hex totals. It also helps smooth out the PK matchup, which is a good excuse for 10th over 4th...

Re: 4th=10th

Disagreed. They get the same benefit from Raelin/Marcus/whoever. Only if you plan on running Raelin and end up facing a lot of melee and the point totals line up right, are the 10th gonna be...
