Re: Poll: Favorite C3G Design by LD: Arkham

1. JASON: I love the “Boo! Got ya!” jump scare mechanic.

2. PENGUIN: Classic “deals in the back of the nightclub” mechanics, and actually works with the rest of your army.

SCIENCE!

Sounds like 6 could work then. Along with the change to Metahuman.

Re: Lobster's Public Design Workshop

Well, it does on like gods and stuff. Life can mean a lot of things. I think I’d start him with 5 lives and take him up if he needs it. 5 is still “extended” human life.

Re: Out-there Heaven (Movie, TV, and Video Game Characters)

Kind of surprised there’s no Kratos write-up in the first page, but The Big Show from the upcoming wrestling heroclix looks like he could be the start of a pretty cool Kratos (as long as you take his...

Re: The Book of Taskmaster - Public Playtesting

Not quite sure why. All of his “feats” basically look like stuff regularly handled by figures like Batman, Cap, and other street level guys who tend to have 5-6 defense.

Keep in mind, “trained...

Re: The Book of Taskmaster - Public Playtesting

Despite starting this debate, I do think A has a clear advantage here and Ronin is right when he says the card doesn’t need extra text. There’s precedent for cap and no cap (Daredevil is a street...

Re: Karat's Public R&D Lab

Re: Lobster's Public Design Workshop

Love it Lobster. Only critiques might be adding an ‘explosive’ effect to Gloves Are Off, like all figures other than HB are affected? That and he might be a bit high on life, as 5 seems appropriate...

Re: Karat's Public R&D Lab

I really suspect Self-Importance is probably a better fit here. Looks like he decided he knows a better way in the heat of the moment than plans from the beginning to “take a different path”.

Also...

Re: The Book of Taskmaster - Public Playtesting

For me, it's more thematic. She-Hulk I understand no cap, since shes a mutate derived from a creature who's upper power limit is unknown.

Taskmaster can predict what you're doing to an extent,...

Re: The Book of Johnny Cage - Final Editing

I think the timing of Ronin’s defense subtraction wording opens up the power to be misinterpreted as getting the -1 shield on the nut punch attack.

Re: The Book of Johnny Cage - Final Editing

I would like to see Lazy do a distinctly British character and let her finally leave her Offences and Defences on the card. A little international flavor.

But not on Johnny. He’s 100% apple pie...

Re: The Book of Bumblebee (Breathe Bee)

Probably others who will do a better job of this, but just some wording tweaks I think should happen.

Re: The Book of Taskmaster - Public Playtesting

Late in the game here, but (especially if we want to lower his points or keep them in check) I do think there should be a cap on the number of extra dice he can roll (probably 3 or 4). He can...

Re: The Book of Hellcat

It's because it goes back and forth between using Cable Claw as a power name (capitalized) and a verb (not capitalized). Same precedent as Flying.

Re: The Book of Ravage - Breathing

I think adding a defensive power is only going to drive his points up more.

Re: Public Design Workshop

A counter argument would be that Joker would really bring down the potential of a Birds of Prey army, though. As is, if Dinah requires an OM, I would generally place the OMs like so:
1: Dinah
2,...

Re: The Book of Lost Land T-Rex (Re-Breather)

Yeah, in general I see a Dino as being able to tank a lot of hits, but let’s face it... a well trained Shield Agent with a full-auto carbine would probably be able to kill a T-Rex on his own......

Re: The Book of Lost Land T-Rex (Re-Breather)

I like it. I’d still like to see a drop in life (as L_O mentioned) to show he’s not quite grown in to his full adult form yet. So like 6 life. He’s a big mean son-of-a-gun who bites hard hasn’t yet...

Re: The Book of Mars T-Rex (Initial Playtest)

Ok, but, especially as this is a public design, and said faction does not yet exist, I have to look at the individual unit. For example, this guy could easily munch 150+ points out of Wonder Woman 1...
