Re: The Book of Sonlen

Had great Sonlen games this weekend. 610 points, we did 2v2 Wandering Monster for the first game and 4 player a free-for-all Heat of Battle game for the second.

Knights feat. Super-Sonlen

Re: Suggestions for the C3V

Yknow what, I don't care at this point lol.

If he's a Human Champion with a Lightning Special that's all I care about. I just want something that bonds with Knights. I have a custom figure I want...

Re: Suggestions for the C3V

Spellswords are a thing too. I mean, yeah. Big Thor vibes. But I don't want a viking, I want a knight. :P[/QUOTE]

Spellhammers, though? :-P

Hammer + Lightning = Thor is going to be a tough...

Re: Suggestions for the C3V

I have no idea if there is a miniature out there of a Knight with a Hammer, but I have this cool idea that I think would make a good figure.

Sir Hallas. Basically, he's like a storm knight with a...

Re: Remove one unrevealed Order Marker at random?

Believe it or not, Orc, yes a clutch MFM psionic blast did cost me the game, and only because the turn it stole was so vital. It wasn't a competitive game, no. I wasn't playing a very good army...

Re: Remove one unrevealed Order Marker at random?

You are more than welcome to do what you want in home games. You have laid out a different way to rule this than the GenCon rules team, and that's fine! Our ruling is that because the opponent does...

Re: Remove one unrevealed Order Marker at random?

I'm typically happy to play however the house/TO wants. The bad beats so to speak happen when such a scenario happens in the moment, you were playing the whole game under the assumption the rules...

Re: Remove one unrevealed Order Marker at random?

I don't see why "clear rules" and "friendly fun" have to be mutually exclusive. I do not accept this dichotomy.

What is friendly about fudging the rules? Faking reality to satisfy someone. Seems...

Brewster I 100% agree with all your logic, except that the word "random" used in boardgames (including but far from limited to Heroscape) is so customarily means your various views...

OR

However I seem to be the only person that loves using the word arbitrarily correctly when most rules use the word random when in my view it really means arbitrary. If you want to take RANDOM...

Re: The Book of the Mind Flayer Mastermind

Question about Psionic Blast.

It says remove an OM "at random".

I had a scenario a week ago where a buddy of mine successfully pulled off a psionic blast on my figure than had 2 OMs (3 and X)...

I never met Rev or spoke to him, but boy was his name everywhere back when I started playing. It's obvious he was a huge contributor to this amazing community and helped make this game one of the...

Re: C3V/SoV Question Dump

Thanks for answering my questions, guys.

The Wildwoods are complicated, but they are some of the coolest designed customs so far. They were the first C3V I snap-bought as soon as I saw them. I...

Re: C3V/SoV Question Dump

Not especially  It's probably easier than I think, but I'd rather it done by someone who's used to doing it.

Re: C3V/SoV Question Dump

Hello all,

as there is no BOOKS of any of the Wildwoods yet, I feel compelled to ask a few rulings about these fellas I had as I was playtesting them today:

1) Monarch's Nature's Keeper ability...

I don't remember exactly when or why or how I got my first RotV master set, but I remember at a certian point both me and my cousin had one,...
