Re: Engineers of Valhalla Brainstorming Thread

You'd think that Large and Huge would have an easier time moving through bamboo, since they could literally smash the bamboo by just falling over onto it.

Neat ideas regardless. I like that the...

Re: Announcing ScapeCon II: July 13 -- July 17

You can put me down as a definite Maybe. I want to go, but money is a bit tight, so it's up in the air.

Re: Soldiers of Valhalla - nominations and discussion

We did discuss different generals. I was partial to Valkrill myself. I want to remind everyone to look at the very first line of the submission, "After roughly 1.5yrs of design and playtesting..." We...

Re: The Book of Axentia

Re: Utah Monthlies 2022

Always good to hear from you Trex. Thank you. I hope that maybe later in the year, you'll be able to make it down for one of the tournaments. It would be great to see you again.

Re: The Pre-SoV Workshop

I think that's a great design. I agree with Sir H, and I think either of the 2 personalities you have proposed to replace tricky, would be much more fitting.

Re: Northwest Heroscape Customs - Wave 5 Complete

Kooko-Makwa is interesting, but "Insubstantial 3" makes it sound like they are a spirit. Is this supposed to be the case? Perhaps "Evasive 3" would fit better otherwise. The 2 abilities are almost...

Re: The Book of Wildwood Sentinel

The base it comes with is a little too big. It is recommended to rebase it. You could however just cut the base it comes with down to the size of a Heroscape hex tile. Whichever is more convenient...

Re: The Pre-SoV Workshop

I see these are all designed around the elementals of each general.

Shamayim looks fine.

Ignis looks fine

Tera worries me. Quicksand seems very strong. An area of effect 50/50 auto wound is...

Re: Utah Monthlies 2021

I wish I had something to share, but I didn't end up playing on it. Hopefully someone who did can share their thoughts experience.

Re: The Book of Darkprowl Thrall

Yes. Stealthy just says "When an unengaged Darkprowl Thrall is attacked", so regardless of the type of attack, or means of targeting, if it is unengaged, it gets the bonus defense dice.

Both of these are ARV approved maps from 2018. None of the other ARV maps that were submitted included tournament information.
That said, here you go:

Re: C3V/SoV Question Dump

There's not a hard limit, but the more expensive something is, the less likely it will be considered acceptable. The C3V tries to keep medium sized Uniques to $10 or less, and common/uncommon figures...

Re: C3V/SoV-inclusive Power Rankings

Very happy to see the resubmission. Hopefully the wait between submissions wasn't too irritating, considering it ended staying the same.
