Oh okay, thanks. I'm now just getting back into Heroscape (in a sense). More like I'm interested in the lore part for a location for tabletop wargames.

I think this idea is better left to RTS video games. Not to say it couldn't work as a board game, but if it did Heroscape is not the game. Without serious modification that is.

Well, typically you want to wash with a darker color, because it will get into the shadows and darken them. That's why I highly recommend inks.

I dry brushed everything. What I did was use two separate washes. One dark red for the muscles, then another dark brown for the fur. I wanted to make them appear more undead, so I opted to paint...
